Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bouillante

My wife and I just spent two weeks at Emile's! Very pleasant stay in a large and comfortable single-story house! Air conditioning in one room and the very powerful fan helped us withstand the heat. The large and totally shaded veranda was often our favorite room! The plus: two well-appointed loungers that accompanied us to the different beaches (folded in the trunk of the car!) Very functional TV and wifi. The equipment needed for cooking is basic, however... but we adapted 😉 In short, a GREAT STAY!!!

We had a great week at this property. Very quiet cottage located just in front of the pool. The detailed email sent by Camille before our arrival is very clear and contains all the recommendations. The mosquito net around the bed is essential because there were a lot of them. We bought and plugged in two diffusers (1 bedroom + 1 bathroom) and were able to enjoy our stay peacefully. The accommodation is actually located on the heights of Bouillante and the road to get there is impressive the first time but in the end you get used to it. I would recommend this very cozy accommodation for a couple.

We 100% recommend this listing as described, which met all our criteria. Very well located on low ground close to all the places to visit as a family. Corine and Fred were lovely to us and we were welcomed as members of their family. Beyond a vacation rental, it is a rich human experience that we retain from these few days in Bouillante. Great nice and comfortable place. Close to shops and village. Danila is very friendly and responds to requests. The place is central enough to visit Malendure, the Colis des Mamelles, hedges... In short, recommend

an excellent welcome from the host, listening to any questions. we had the bad luck of having a power outage the temp of a weekend but the host did everything necessary with a generator to still have electricity. We were able to eat and keep the fridge on. In any case, I recommend any guest to take this place that was accurate to the photo and good value for money.

Thanks to Christian for hosting us! The listing was great and as described. Christian was very invested and attentive to our needs. Gardener by profession, he showed us around his garden and gave us many explanations about the local plants (vanilla, banana, maracudja, etc.) We also had the opportunity to end the stay by sharing an aperitif with him. In short, pleasant accommodation and a more than friendly host! Florian and I apologize for leaving quickly without taking the time to really say goodbye.

We had a great time at this place that met our expectations! Everything is provided in terms of kitchen equipment, dishes, shower which made our stay here easier👌🏼 Shops are nearby for supplies! Small downside on the accessibility to the accommodation by car (quality of the road, hill, narrow passage) but once you get the hang of it, maneuvering is no longer a problem!

We had a great time at Stéphanie's place. The space was perfect. The environment is peaceful. We were hosted very well by Stéphanie who gave us plenty of information. Special shout out for the good parking plan to access Petit Malendure beach😉. In short, a dream stay! Thank you

We spent a few days at Caroline's and everything went very smoothly. The accommodation is very well located for visiting Basse Terre and close to shops by car. It's very functional. Caroline and her husband were very attentive and full of good advice. Many thanks to them.

An extraordinary view, we fought to do the dishes with such a view... A very nice pool to cool off as well as the air conditioning in the accommodation... A pleasant terrace to eat there in the company of chickens, birds and frogs while admiring the sunset... Dominique is a very friendly host... In short, we won't hesitate to go back.

Very nice accommodation, with beautiful surroundings and superb views of Pigeon Island. Beautiful pool that allows you to relax after days of activities and discoveries. Thank you for the stay that we really enjoyed! The check-in instructions are very clear, the road even if it is not smooth (like almost everywhere in Guadeloupe) is not super complicated at all contrary to what we read. We had a wonderful stay. Mélodie and Guillaume are very welcoming and caring hosts. Everything is designed to make you feel good! The accommodation is a peaceful oasis, facing nature. Every detail is part of this experience. The calm of the forest and animals is conducive to disconnection. The terrace is incredible and allows you to relax after a good day of walking with all the activities in the surroundings. Axelle was charming, pleasant and helpful. She made every effort to communicate with us english speakers. She spoke english well but not perfectly....we managed fine with our limited french and much graciousness on both sides. We were charmed by the area....many beautiful beaches...we went to the maison de cocoa , and into the rainforest. The accomodations were basic but comfortable...we had everything we needed. We took advantage of her offer to provide our first dinner...chicken colombe...a typical creole dish...yummy. We would be happy to return here!

We had a great time at Jean Pierre's place. Gaelle and Jean Pierre are very welcoming. Jean Pierre is an in-train who loves conviviality and when the bell rings at 7 p.m. it is the beginning of good times and friendly encounters with other travelers. Except imprevus related to its ice cream machine! We met beautiful people both our hosts and other guests. Gaelle gave us great tips for visiting the island, at the top. The apartment is well located, beautiful view, beach 10-15 min walk, clean, functional. We are a family with two children aged 5 and 6 and the place was perfect for us. A big thank you to Gaelle and Jean Pierre!

After two weeks of "nature" in Dominica, Celia and Jerome's accommodation was perfect for the working time of the trip. Perfect location with the beach opposite. Perfect in amenities… there is everything Perfect access: the bottom of the fort allows you to radiate on Basse-Terre, Grande-Terre and on the north-south axis of Pointe-à-Pitre. Perfect in the responsiveness of the hosts. Perfect for the tranquility of the residence. One huge drawback!!!! You have to leave this interlude of life one day and return to reality.

We arrived delighted by the place, after 1 week wandering / crisscrossing Deshaies and more broadly the whole island of Basse-Terre, it is with a heavy heart that we left this magical place. Hiking, waterfalls, snorkeling, cocooning, paradisiacal beaches... There is something for everyone and the accommodation will meet all your expectations. ❤️

We spent 10 wonderful days over Easter there! We loved the surroundings, the garden, the charming accommodation and especially our hosts, who were able to tell us a lot about island/plant/excursion destinations. We also enjoyed their homemade rum punch in the evening while listening to the animal and plant life or rain all around. The location is perfect for those who like to be close to nature, like to hike and at the same time the beaches around Deshaies can be reached in just 40 minutes. We also went to the local beach every day to snorkel for turtles or fish before we visited the bakery. Everything is within 5 minutes drive. Thanks Krystel and Patrick!! :)
