Nous avons loué le chalet pour un week-end à la plage et c’était parfait!! Tout est super beau, autant à l’extérieur qu’à l’intérieur. C’est un endroit avec beaucoup de charme, et l’accès à la plage se fait super bien à pieds. Nous avons adoré, c’était au dessus de nos attentes!

Excellent place, was exactly what we needed and were looking for, more than fulfilled our needs for us and our dog. it's nice to have a place where big dogs are welcome.

Ernie was a great host, the house was more than we expected! There is so much to do here to keep the kids busy, and be able to socialize and relax the weekend away! Will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks so much! Until next time!

My family spent one week at Yves cottage and loved it! The cottage had everything we needed and my children loved all the toys and games. The view was amazing and we loved kayaking around the bay. Yves was very quick to respond to any questions I had and was very helpful

Nous avons passé une semaine à ce beau gîte mon conjoint, ma fille de 16 ans et son amoureux. Nous avons été charmés par l’endroit, la propreté et les commodités. Très bien équipé avec tout ce qu’on a besoin! Situé à quelques minutes seulement de marche d’une magnifique plage privée. J’ai pu admirer de beaux couchers de soleil. J’y retournerais sans hésiter!

This is a special place and a we had a wonderful holiday with our family of six adults. Everyone had enough private space and the communal area is large, beautiful, very tastefully partitioned with furniture and to top it off has a bank of windows on three sides looking over a tidal river and forest lands. Wake to rich birdsong and gentle light. The piece of land is enormous and beautiful, with a beautiful variety of birds and wildlife. The river is small and gentle (perfect for swimming, boating) and leads very quickly to the larger leg of river which is amazing for a long canoe trip (check the tide timetable :-). A peaceful, beautiful place for a quiet family getaway. Thank you.

great spot! hot tub was fabulous on a rainy windy weekend. stayed 2 nights and had a great time. lots of space indoors and outside. would highly recommend for families and group of couples wanting an oasis from the city life. thanks to both for being so flexible on a later checkout time as well!

We will choose Gilles' place again and again! It's perfect location is peaceful and gorgeous. The cottage is cozy and inviting and steps away from the beach. Gilles makes sure we have everything we need . Definitely recommend!!!

My stay at the charming beachfront cottage on York Street was nothing short of perfect. The location is ideal, offering stunning views of the water and easy access to the beach, making it a great spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cottage itself was impeccably clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the outdoor amenities—starting our mornings with a peaceful coffee on the patio, followed by a dip in the pool. The surroundings are serene, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home.

We were here during the month of October 2021. For weather in October, it was incredible and being here close to the water made it even better. Cap Pele itself is a pleasant little town and it seems that most people speak both French and English. We did a lot of walking and there is plenty of opportunity to do it here, especially along the beach with its views of the water. Sometimes thought I was in an Alex Colville painting.

Perfect Perfect Perfect Everything was Perfect!! We stayed 8 nights and walked to end of road to the beach, collecting shells, etc. Walked the trail behind the chalet it was lovely back there. Perfect location for everything and everyone. We went to tourist things in Moncton on magnetic hill. Went deep sea fishing in PEI. Enjoyed a beautiful seafood dinner at Paturels Shore House Restaurant & enjoyed shopping in nearby Shediac. Grocery store/gas station 5 minutes from chalet. Enjoyed having washer & dryer that actually cleans clothes , unlike the new modern machines that spin your clothes too much and stretch them. Hopefully they always keep that set. The beds were super comfortable and it was wonderful to have AC and heat when needed one morning when temperature dropped overnight. Marie & Guy were so amazing as hosts, they responded quickly to everything and were supportive in accommodating our extended check out due to our 33 yr old son went missing overnight & was found late. We had a wonderful time! Loved all the little extras they provided at the cottage; s'mores bucket, water, soda, coffee and tea. The beds were super comfortable I want to find out where they bought the mattress and bedding! The fire by the water was so nice and relaxing. We purchased lobster from the wharf and cooked them outside Super fun weekend can't wait to rebook!

Had a great stay! Easy walk to the beach or drive if you prefer. The area is quiet and peaceful. You are close to neighbours but we didn't find that to be a problem. The walkway to the beach was quick, scenic and quite nice. The beach is fantastic, with a restaurant and other amentities. I would love to be back in the summer to enjoy swimming at the beach!
