Undoubtedly it was a wonderful place to stay. I really enjoyed there. It’s a little far from Colombo city, even then it’s worth living. The owner has decorated it so well and forgot my home. I really loved the place and if I come again to Sri Lanka, I will prefer to stay at the same place. The only drawback at this place is that you don’t get any transport at late night. My flight was early morning and it was almost impossible to get a taxi at 2 am. To be on safe side I had to book a hotel for one night near the Airport which cost me USD 63. That was painful

We stayed at Ocean Retreat for two nights and loved it so much we extended for one more night! The apartment is on the 10th floor with a beautiful view of the beach and the city. It’s cozy, clean, and even prettier than the photos—felt like a real home away from home. The kitchen had all the essentials to cook a meal, and there was a washing machine with detergent and clear instructions, which was super convenient. Loved the little touches, there was even an umbrella! Chiran was a great host, very easy to communicate with and quick to respond when we had minor issues with the AC and Wi-Fi. There’s a restaurant right in the building and lots of others just a minute away, so food was never a problem. We also enjoyed binge-watching Netflix and chilling on the balcony. The rooftop pool is amazing too, with a 360° view of Negombo. The building feels very secure, and there’s free parking on the ground floor. Everything was just so thoughtfully arranged. Would definitely return!
