Thanks to Sam for hosting us and for his kindness. His place is quiet and great! Our family felt at home. Sam shared his passion for alpacas with us. My 10 and 7 year old children were delighted to be able to feed the alpacas every day. An extraordinary experience for our little ones. We recommend it. A nice well-appointed cottage, in a charming hamlet, a very welcoming hostess, very beautiful landscapes with multiple walks possible, we had a great time. To recommend!

Joanne's cottage is a great haven of peace. There is a beautiful, peaceful park bordered by a small river. It offers shaded and sunny areas according to everyone's wishes. The house is very large and has a lot of charm, the charm of the old with a touch of typical English atmosphere. It was a real pleasure to stay with Joanne. Thanks to her and her husband for their sympathy and smiles. We recommend it 100%.

Chez Gerard, a pearl in the Creuse. We stayed 10 nights at the gite Chez Gerard. A very pleasant cottage, with a huge garden where the dog could also run free. In addition, the hosts Gerard and Marjon were more than friendly and made our stay feel very warm. We greatly enjoyed the tranquility, the space and the beautiful surroundings. Absolutely recommended!

Fabien was flexible with checking in and always speedy replies to questions and gladly sorted out a few minor things very quickly. The place is super-rural and rustic, but with a good hot shower, and the online photos a good reflection. The district around is quiet too. The local village has a boulangerie but nothing else. The kitchen space is limited if you were trying to cook meals but for quick snacks fine, also not great for working space if needed and there is no wifi (though this is clearly noted in the listing). But the place is very good as a reasonably priced spot for peaceful sleepover and a lovely view over misty fields as the sun rises.
