The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.

The Noordhuisjes consist of three cozy log cabins hidden in the greenery with a private terrace with a fireplace and canopy to enjoy the outdoors. An overnight stay in the Noordhuisjes is a very special little adventure. One log cabin is decorated as a cozy living room with a simple kitchen and a nice wood stove for the chilly evenings in summer or for the winter days.
