Beautiful place on the water, clean, spacious & great for everyone.

Unit was very clean, situated in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to many of Portland's best bars, restaurants and attractions. Host was communicative and provided clear guidance on check-in/-out procedures and offered up suggestions to local attractions. On my recommended list - dinner at Twelve (one of the best restaurants in the US, IMHO); on-site food truck tacos washed down with a Hazy IPA at Bellflower or Austin Street Brewery; an everything bagel with lox & morning latte at Forage; the East Promenade for a food truck lunch, then a stroll along the waterfront trail to the port area for an ice cream cone at Gorgeous gelato; afternoon coffee at Double Great Coffee; and a post-dinner whiskey @ Independence Ice. Only downside on my visit was the upstairs neighbor. Dude clearly isn't a principal dancer in the Portland Ballet, as light on his feet wouldn't describe him. Not a stereo or TV issue - you can just hear the noise from him walking (8AM-10PM when there)

Such a lovely stay! The view of the beach was absolutely beautiful, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to local stores and great restaurants. The space was very clean, cozy, and ideal for a mix of relaxing and fun weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

The place in Brooklin was delightful. We arrived at the edge of the season so got to enjoy the surrounding area mostly to ourselves. Our hosts were kind and welcoming and not overly attentive. They got a kayak out of storage and took it to the dock for me which gave me a lovely morning on the nearby cove. They also gave us a later checkout which was really helpful to not have to jump up and get things cleaned and packed. My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Located on the quiet end of Oakland, away from the busy KMD, is one of the reasons we chose this apartment. The overall feel is spacious and comfortable. We both felt like this was home away from home. We would definitely stay again.

I went with a couple of friends for a relaxing weekend in the fall. It was lovely to have the beach so close by! We took a short day trip to Ogunquit where there was quite a bit of activity; lots of shops and restaurants to check out. Coming back to Melissa's place was cozy and relaxing. Since this was off-season, it is pretty quiet in the area. I felt more comfortable taking a stroll to the beach in the evening with a friend but would be hesitant to go alone. Despite that, we got the weekend we wanted: peace, relaxation, the ocean, things to do nearby, and a place to stay that was quiet, cozy, and clean. Thank you Melissa!

First time coming down to maine. Right in the center of everything. 10-20 minute drives (not bad). We ate at Pine Point Grille the first night and it was amazing. Second, we tried Dunstan’s Tap and Table. Had to wait 30 minutes, but was worth it. Great area, felt very homey. I would come back.

Great location. Everything within walking distance. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Great water pressure in the shower. Well equipped kitchen. Feels like a very safe area and has a free parking spot. Would absolutely stay here again.

Overall great experience, unfortunately the other folks that were supposed to join us weren’t able to, so it was just my girlfriend and I, which was still nice. A little chilly coming in the door, but hearing the place up was easy.

This home was just perfect for a few days of R&R for my sister and me. The apartment is perfectly appointed with everything needed for a relaxing and easy stay. Kudos to the designer - the space was the perfect blend of a lovely aesthetic and function. I will certainly be remembering this little gem for the next time I'm in Portland!

The condo was perfect! Very clean, neat, cute decor. I loved the box of dog supplies that the host left. The condo was also in a GREAT area, walkable to bars, restaurants, coffee shops, stores. The host, Jason was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return to Portland and stay in this condo again.

James and Jeni were excellent hosts. James or Jeni got back to me quickly if I had a question and often checked in to see if we needed anything. The apartment was spacious, super clean and cozy. The furniture and beds were new and comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. We loved being on a quiet street and just a quick walk to the town. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay over Memorial Day weekend! The location here truly can’t be beat-walking distance to everything Kennebunkport has to offer. We loved that the property was pet friendly and well stocked. The property itself was exactly as described with very comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen. We would absolutely stay here again. Robert and Janette were incredibly responsive with our questions and recommendations and had clear checking and checkout instructions. A true gem of a weekend getaway!

We came during the off season and had a quick two day stay here and thought it was great for us and our two small dogs.

We loved staying here! The unit was spotless and had everything we needed. The location is perfect - located on a peaceful coastal street but also 5 mins from dock square. Plus, the bed is super comfy! We can’t wait to come back.

Five star stay! They had everything you would need - fully stocked kitchen, plenty of pillows, tons of extra towels! The place was beautifully decorated and felt like a true beach getaway. We’d be lucky to go back!

Easy quick getaway for ski/snowboard trip

This was a great find and enjoyed our 3 week there - We got to meet a few neighbors, and they were very nice as well - Very close to restaurants and Wells Beach - WIFI worked great as I work from home and the tip about leaving the second car at the Wells Transportation Center helped a lot ! Danielle was great with communication and rules - We would stay here again

Lovely, clean apartment with a terrific location! We highly recommend and hope to return soon--maybe even for Pumpkinfest again next year. Thank you especially for the extra blankets, that was such a kind gesture.

We enjoyed our stay at Village By the Sea. Located in the middle of the lovely town of Wells, Maine. The property was beautiful and very comfortable.

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.
