Beachfront vacation rentals in Bogue Sound

Jeremy and Liz were great host! We are saddened we had to cut our trip short due to Debby but so thankful they worked out a plan for us! We hope to book this place again for a future trip!

What a delightful experience! The house was as advertised and more. Kate provided many thoughtful touches (easy entertainment navigating, extra kitchen and food treats, fully stocked kitchen and cooking aids, games, beach supplies), which were wonderful surprises. She operates a pet friendly house, with pet supplies too. The location is marvelous, and the Surf City beaches are wonderful. She truly is a five star hostess, and this lovely home is perfect for a family/pet holiday.

The host was very responsive and the place was great all around. Views are amazing, parking is out front of the unit. This spot is one of the best for the price and worked well for three people for two nights. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in town.

Nothing beats waking up and immediately being able to see the Atlantic Ocean, great location! The kitchen has been recently redone, which was nice and spacious. The back balcony was half roofed so it was a nice place to sit away from the sun to take in the view. It was peaceful and quiet, everyone around us was respectful of everyone else’s surroundings. It was a blessing being able to take our dog with us on this trip. She felt comfortable in the house and fell in love with the beach!

The cottage is downright adorable, perfect for a getaway! Host is incredibly helpful and friendly.

We love staying at this place! This was our third visit and won’t be our last. Who can resist the large windows overlooking the Sound, the smell and feel of the water and the breeze? The screened in porch, especially when a rain shower came through, was a wonderful place to hang out, have coffee and enjoy the day. I called this our bluebird visit as there were so many around the Cottage. Watching the fishing boats, egrets and pelicans is such a simple but welcome pleasure. So many great memories to take away!

Christine Anne and Bill were great hosts. Their place was comfortable with an outside deck. The location was off the beaten path in a beautiful setting on the river. It was an easy drive to Oriental, a small town with a variety of restaurants and a coffee shop. We enjoyed our respite in the carriage house.

This was the first vacation we were able to take as a whole family including pets!!, it was a very short walk to the beach which was a plus for the kids. Also the game room was a hit with the whole family. We will definitely book again if available!!😊

Carol is a fabulous host! This was our second year visiting Atlantic Beach and staying at her Airbnb. The location is perfect: oceanfront beach, awesome restaurants, and epic places like Shackleford Island and Cape Lookout. We hope to return!

The condo was really nice. The distance from the beach to the condo was less than 200 feet. Upon arriving the first thing I noticed was how clean and nicely decorated it was. Place was well stocked with essentials. There's a closet in the hall thats stocked with soap, bandaids, first aid, paper towels and everything needed. Appliances were new, clean and functional. TVs worked and the sound bar was a nice surprise as I would rather listen to music than watch TV. I can honestly say I cant think of one negative thing. Thank you for having us. We really had a great relaxing time, and thanks for the restaurant recommendations. We hit Gaffers twice but mostly sat on the deck and ate. That view is fantastic.

The house exceeded our expectations. There is beach equipment/towels available for guests, along with a rise off area by the garage. The kitchen is fully stocked compared to other air bnbs I've stayed in. Check in/check out is super easy and the responsive hosts created a helpful guidebook to answer all questions and even included restaurant/activity recommendations. The walk to the beach access was much shorter than we thought from the map view, so this is a perfect location in vicinity to the beach. The house was spotless when we arrived, all of the linens are high quality and cleaned very well. The mattresses and pillows were also extremely comfy! We've decided that Topsail will be our regular beach spot and we'll be staying here whenever possible!!

Our family had a wonderful time. The space was extremely clean and fit the description in the listing and photos. The space is located in a quiet, gated community with lots of wonderful amenities and just a short walk to the beach via private access. Cathy was a wonderful host and was flexible with us during our stay. We’d love to come back for another visit soon!

This place was an oasis! The view was spectacular, and it was super easy and quick to walk to the pool and the beach. The pool was close to the beach and had a bathroom so we didn’t have to walk all the way back to the condo if we were out on the beach. The grounds and the beach were very private and quiet. The condo was cozy and comfortable, had lots of towels, extra blankets, and lots of kitchen amenities. They even had games in the cabinet. There were tv’s in every room. The outdoor table and chairs made eating outside easy so we could enjoy the breeze and the fantastic view of the greenery and the beach. The aquarium and tons of great shops and restaurants were only minutes away! Peaceful place to stay, but close enough to the hustle and bustle, too. Perfect balance! I would highly recommend Claudia’s place! She made the whole process seamless and super simple. We had a fabulous time! One to remember! We would love to come back!

The condo was clean upon arrival, and the view was amazing! Lisa was very prompt at answering any questions. The balcony was small but still very nice, and the chairs were more comfortable than the normal wooden balcony chairs that have been at other rentals. It was very quiet, you couldn't hear anything from any neighboring condos. I would definitely stay here again if I chose to vacation in Atlantic Beach again.

Beautiful place to stay. Loved that even on the rainy day we felt like we were on the beach! I will definitely plan on coming to stay again. Thank you for letting us stay at such a beautiful place Alyssa!

Wonderful getaway,close to home to get some much “sea” therapy. Everything was perfect,and I felt like we stayed in a sweet little cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay, great location, beautiful home, everything and more that we needed for a week in the beach. Perfect for our family getaway. There was a minor hiccup with the cleaning service when we arrived but Michael went above and beyond to get the situation rectified right away! We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Wonderful girls weekend at the beach. 3 of the 4 bedrooms had ocean views. Spent most of our time lounging in the chairs on the decks!

Another great trip to the beach with the grand-kids! It is such an easy and relaxing thing to do when you stay at a condo so clean and well equipped as this one. The weather was perfect and everyone had a wonderful time. Can't wait to come back next year.

Their thoughtfulness and hospitality truly stood out—everything from helpful local tips to the little touches around the house made us feel right at home. The location was exactly what we were looking for: peaceful, quiet, and private. We loved that the beaches were just a short walk away—perfect for morning strolls or relaxing evenings by the water. And the front porch had the most amazing view of the sunrise and sunset. The house itself was cozy and incredibly inviting. It had everything we needed and more. You can tell a lot of care and intention has gone into creating a space where guests can truly unwind. We’re already dreaming of our next trip back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape with a top-notch host!

Love, love, love! Everything as described, extremely clean and super easy access to the beach. Extra amenities all very thoughtful and so appreciated! All ramps to access beach which was perfect for my jogging stroller with my littlest! Highly recommend!!

Mel’s place was great with plenty of room for me and my coworkers. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Couldn’t have asked for much more. Would be a great place to stay for a getaway.

Our stay at Joe and Meg’s place was amazing! Super short walk to the beach, easy to find and get into, and beautifully decorated! The roof access was the coolest part and I loved the screened porch. Perfect beach getaway, couldn’t have asked for anything better!

This was the 1st time staying @ Emerald Isle & Dan’s location was perfect. Quiet family oriented beach location. The house is well equipped with all you need for a day at the beach. Very clean with an adorable bunk room that the adults were envious of it! Comfortable beds & plenty places to sit in & out. Kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs.
