Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is one of our 2 properties. The other is the peaceful East Punsmiert chalet. Both are a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees.

Je kunt vissen, zwemmen, suppen, zeilen, of gewoon even helemaal niks. The Voorhuis of the farm has been converted into a spacious guesthouse overlooking the garden, meadows. We have an organic dairy farm and work with nature as much as possible. The Flower Chalet is located in one of the quietest spots of Recreatiepark De Friese Wadden with beautiful views over the countryside. Around the cottage are several terraces, so you can always sit in the sun and/or out of the wind ( here on the coast it usually blows). Guests of the recreation park can use the swimming pool, the large playground or a tennis court. Unesco World Heritage The Wadden Sea is only 2 km away. I hope you feel completely at home!

De Waard van Hidaard

On the Hidaard mound, you stay in the stylish front house of our old farmhouse, with its own entrance and facilities. Our house features a spacious kitchen and 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. If you book for 2 people, you will get the lower floor, i.e. the kitchen and 1 bedroom. If you want to use 2 bedrooms, you must book for at least 3 people. Wake up to the sound of birds singing, panoramic views, and the cozy warmth of the wood-burning stove.
