Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Boac

We were a group of 12 on a Holy Week break - 3 families with teens and young kids- and rented Balai LaHi as well as the Sunrise Room. This place overdelivers in spades!! When we weren’t enjoying the beach out front, we lazily lounged around the house. There were many different areas to chitchat, reconnect, play board games; and equally many quiet corners to read a book, crochet and take naps. The hosts, Cholo and Tor, were amazing - they helped us arrange services for a cook and kitchen helper; provided us with great directions and restaurants to try, shared Lenten schedules and personal tips to enjoy the festivities. But beyond helping with logistics, they were always warm and welcoming and made us feel like long-time friends instead of transient guests. All in all, it was a wonderful stay - we came for the Moriones of Marinduque, but we will return for Balai LaHi. It was the easily the highlight of our trip!

Very nice home. Jeanette’s husband who helped Us with the check in was very friendly and helpful. Starlink internet was very useful since the place had weak cellular signal. House was very clean and well organized. Only recommendation would be to put cabinets in the rooms. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

We are a family of 14 and tita Irene allowed us to stay and check in really early in the morning. We needed househelp and and her caretakers namely Vidal and Mina whom tita Irene recommended were the best ever. They are always ready to provide for all our needs from keeping the place clean and cooking our every meal. Special mention must be accorded to Vidal for being such an excellent cook! Our family really enjoyed the 5 days vacation which is too short. The location is so great because you get to wake up with the sound of the waves and cool breeze of the sea. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing! I now have my go to place if and when I plan to visit my home island of Marinduque. I highly recommend this place.

Our two night stay was worth it. The house is beautiful and clean. It is a cozy home. Home away from home indeed. Will definitely book this again next time. Thank you Sean and ate Ann.

We enjoyed the place! The cabin was bigger than we expected, it was clean and they provided everything we needed for the duration of our stay. The place is very peaceful and the owners made sure to not overcrowd the place to maintain a calm ambiance. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay as they freely roam around the place. We also met the very accommodating owners and we instantly felt safe to stay in their cabin. We will come back again with the whole family!

My partner and I had a pleasant stay here. Me as a local in Marinduque, ngayon lang ako nakakita ng sobrang ganda at sulit na stay to relax and forget everything for a while. Sobrang tahimik ng place, sobrang sarap mag-unwind. Yung place malinis pagdating namin. Daming pwedeng gawin during your stay kasi ang daming nakaprepare na games at board games. Nanay is always there if may need kayo or if may tanong. My partner and I will definitely book this listing again once na bumalik ulit siya dito sa Marinduque. Thank you so much, Cholo and Tor, for your incredible warmth and hospitality. We truly appreciate all the thought and care you put into making our stay perfect. Almost every day, there was something new added to make us feel even more at home — a second hammock, extra kitchen essentials, etc. — small, thoughtful touches that made a big difference. The pergola where we cooked and shared our meals was such a delightful surprise, quickly becoming one of our favorite spots. The beautiful gardens, breathtaking sunsets, morning snorkeling, and the cheerful, kind staff, and Cholo and Tor's lovable dogs all added to the magic of the place. There’s something about this place that makes you feel so peaceful and relaxed, you just want to stay there all day, doing nothing but soaking it all in. It’s a rare kind of calm that’s hard to leave behind. We don’t usually return to the same place for holidays, but we’re happily making an exception for this one!

Pros: - This accommodation offers an affordable and highly recommended option for travelers visiting Marinduque, especially those on a budget. Despite the cost, it provides a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment. - Its location near Laylay Port is ideal, with scenic attractions such as the old port and the beach nearby. - The hospitality of Kuya Dodo (the caretaker) and Ms. Joan stood out, as they were very attentive to my needs. Additionally, the warmth and friendliness of the Marindueños made my stay even more enjoyable. - The property is gated, ensuring safety, with Kuya Dodo diligently overseeing the area. Note: While the space is not very large, it offers the essential amenities for travelers, which is reasonable given its price. As a solo traveler, the size was not a concern for me. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and found it to be a good value for the cost.

great host amazing place. always messaged to check in if we needed anything and was accommodating. Highly recommend, very Hassel free experience and enjoyable. Would recommend for anyone staying in marinduque foreigner or not, 10/10 for sure
