Tiny house vacation rentals in Blue Ridge Mountains

From the moment we first arrived, my newlywed wife and I absolutely fell in love with this cabin. Sitting just a few hundred feet northeast of the pinnacle of Sharp Ridge and overlooking High Knob to the east, this little mountain retreat is a close friend to dazzling sunrises and a bejeweled night sky, winding Allegheny roads and the sarcastically-named Dry Run, a whole host of critterkind and the timbers wherein they make their homes, yet a stranger to civilization, the worldwide web, and—of course—blue waters. In our case, we wanted to disconnect from the technocracy in which we live and exclusively spend quality time with one another immersed in the beauty of nature, and we could not have dreamed of a better spot. Despite the isolation, the charming town of Franklin is only a fifteen-minute drive away and has plenty of groceries, gas, restaurants, and that all-important cell service. As I wrote in the guest book, West Virginia stole our hearts and this cabin was the mastermind.

This little cabin up in the mountains was wonderful for two people! It was very clean and quiet. The host David was very responsive and helpful from my first inquiry to my last! He and his wife were very accommodating and thoughtful! Having access to the private lake area was perfect for us! A beautiful, relaxing stay! Thank you to David and his wife!

Ilse's tiny house was just what we'd hoped for... peaceful setting, simplicity in a pastorale setting. Loved our walks down the lane and eating out on the porch. Ilse answered all our questions in a timely manner and made sure our visit was stellar!

Amazing view, comfy beds, great location!! Secluded feel but the grocery store and much more is a short drive away. Honestly I could’ve sat on the back porch and looked at the mountains and river all day. The pool was a nice spot, well done little area. My daughter enjoyed the little playground. Happy we booked this place!

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Location was great and the deck over the river's edge was wonderful. Only suggestion we would have is a vacuum for the cabin versus just a broom. Rate was great and we will be back.

Beautiful, peaceful home with spectacular views! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. It was a perfect place for our family getaway.

The Grove was everything my partner and I were looking for. It was beautiful and secluded and nature was in full swing of spring. The cabin at The Grove is a very cozy home to spend time resting after spending hours walking the trails on the property.

We really appreciate how private and clean the property was. We will be coming back again

This little house packs a big punch. From the jacuzzi, fire pit and the amenities in the town of Blue Ridge, you will not want for anything.

We absolutely loved staying at Rivers Edge! Cutest little cabin with the best view! We got to see a fox across the river looking for some food and a family of deer crossing the river this morning before we left! Cabin was stocked with everything you need and the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! We will be back and refer all our friends to stay at this mountain paradise!

This place is a little slice of heaven! So peaceful and beautiful. The hot tub was clean, hot and so amazing. It rained the whole time but the hot tub is covered. The place is cozy, clean and well equipped with all you’d need. Highly recommend this place!

Great stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. I loved the little hot tub and how nice and secluded it felt. The hosts were very responsive and kind and take great care of their place and their guest! Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to the area!

Had such a nice time here I almost don’t want other people to know about it! Beautiful cabin with a view, feels very private but you’re not far from attractions and activities in Lost River.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect! The location was ideal—private yet easy to access, and close to amazing restaurants. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were spot on. We spent a lot of time on the roof and enjoyed the hot tub, which offered so much space. Plus, the rocking chairs were a lovely touch!

Just book it! Such a peaceful get away. Place Is impeccable and feels like a perfect home sweet home. Very easy to find and the perfect size to go as a couple. Very tastefully decorated and nice to have those warm bathroom floors. 100% would recommend.

Loved staying at Mac! We adored the privacy of the location and the feeling of being surrounded by nature. We were amazed at the creativity and use of space in the tiny home- every square inch was used for something practical! Carrie left it fully stocked for us with coffee, tea, soaps in the shower, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was also super accommodating when we had to shorten our reservation last minute. Would recommend Mac to any couple looking for a comfortable place near Marion or Nebo!

We took a girls’ trip to Covington to celebrate my friends’ 30th birthday. It was perfect! You could tell they put a lot of thought and care into their cabin, which didn’t go unnoticed. It was truly perfect— fully stocked with everything we needed! We loved swimming in the creek (we even packed a few floaties, which made it perfect) and hopping in the hot tub! The cabin was nice and cozy. Great spot for someone looking to visit Sylva and Waynesville.

The Blue Heron was amazing. We spent so much time out on the deck taking in the peaceful surroundings. Driving to Ashville was simple. Beth makes the best bread. We had homemade butter and cream. We had eggs from the farm. We recommend that you walk to the farm. The farm animals are responsive to visitors and put on a show!!!

Don’t mind me, I’m just calculating how much I need to earn annually to live here full time! Remo has created an incredible space which not only is exactly as dreamy, cozy, and luxurious as the description lets on, but is absolutely inspiring in every sense of the word. I’m genuinely shocked this doesn’t have a perfect 5 star rating after 500 reviews, If I could give higher praise than that, I would. If you’re reading this review because you’re unsure, I assure that this place is beyond worth it and actually more impressive in person. Hosts are extremely accommodating, providing pretty much everything you need! Serious coffee enthusiasts: just bring your scale and water. That’s it. Host was very communicative and helpful, they did such a good job answering all questions we had in their on-site book. We would love to pick Remo’s brain on making a property like this for ourselves. If we ever return to the area, we won’t hesitate to check availability!
