From the apartment you can listen to the Loire River rushing by and gaze at the chateau. You can be in the center of town with a pleasant 2-minute walk. And after a long day of sightseeing in the region, the Blue Door is the perfect place to unwind. The loft comfortably sleeps 4-6 people in two bedrooms and on a sofa bed. The open living room and dining room combination with its exposed beams is a nice place for socializing. The kitchen is small but functional, with everything you need to prepare meals. The apartment offers a portable air conditioning unit and a dishwasher, as well as a washer and dryer just downstairs. Free parking is available close to the apartment. From the Blue Door you can see a lot without a car since it is only a 10-minute walk to the train station. Amboise is the perfect place for exploring the Loire Valley, one of the most beautiful areas of France (with the chateaux of Chenonceau, Villandry, Chambord, and others). But there is much more to do than just the castles. Canoeing on the river; visiting the city of Tours, biking along the Loire, taking a hot air balloon ride, visiting the weekly markets...and for children...just down the street from the apartment is a summer swimming pool, a playground with zip line, mini golf, and small beaches.
