The apartment is located in the Königswinter mountain area at the foot of the Ölberg and is the perfect starting point for hikes. It is ideal for a small family, hikers or cyclists. The Posthalterhof was built around 1683 as a postal station by Thurn and Taxis as a station between Cologne and Trier. In the middle of Blankenheim, less than 200 meters from the Ahrquelle, the Posthalterhof is one of the oldest buildings in Blankenheim. Located in the center of Blankenheim, right on the Eifelsteig and the Jacobsweg, it offers guests a place to stay, just as it did 300 years ago.
