Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

The McVeytown House house is located within walking distance of the Juniata River Access Area. Yoder Tourways Bus Garage is right across the street, in case you are scheduled for a tour! Thank you again for the great stay! We really appreciated the space and it’s comfort and convenience. Would recommend the flat to anyone. Great hiking trails nearby and Juniata college (our reason for visiting) was just a 20 minute drive!

Love the cozy pocket of the forest in this lil getaway! The heated floors was a super perk! Stylish, trendy, cozy and quaint. The tub is dreamy, the tankless water heater gives unlimited hot water! I was so relaxed post soaking! If youre in Mifflintown youve got to stay here! Absolutely worth it!

Everything about this experience was excellent. Communication with the owners was perfect, questions answered quickly, booking very east, beautiful apartment with beautiful views, we even had the friendliest dig meet us and slept outside the door all night. There were snacks in the table and farm fresh eggs and milk in the fridge, k-cups and sleepy tea on the counter to enjoy! Upon leaving we noticed a table by the entrance to the driveway with begonias and geraniums for sale by their son, which we couldn’t pass up. Bought several to take back to NC to plant in our yard so we could remember this awesome experience! Thanks to this family for being so hospitable!
