Brecon House | Bike Park Wales | Secure Bike Shed

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed staying at Jamie’s place; it provided a good hub for us to explore the local area and all that the Brecon Beacons had to offer. It was nice to be able to come back after a busy day and relax in a clean and cosy space that had everything we needed. Jamie was always responsive and there to be contacted if necessary and we’d recommend Beacon House to anyone who wants a nice house within a stones throw of some lovely walks and places to visit.

Cheerful 3 Bed Cottage in Great Area for Walking

MichelleRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved this cottage. It is in a delightful location at the end of a lane, with a very attractive garden. Everything inside had been thoughtfully put together to make guests feel welcome and comfortable, and Sharon was helpful and responsive. The kitchen was very well equipped. We did some beautiful hiking nearby, and all agreed that we would like to return to the area and the house.

Barn with pool + fitness studio

CaitlinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Such a lovely place to stay. We only booked for two nights and wish we had been there for longer. Lots of really interesting features (a suit of armour! A harp!) in a well stocked house. Very comfortable beds and sofas, beautiful views (we especially enjoyed all the bird nesting in the eaves), gorgeous interior, starry Dark Skies and nice hosts - what's not to love? Great parking. Wish we could have had a few more nights, to check out the pub just down the road.

Vale Wild Cherry - Farm with stunning views

VivRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
beautiful views and with the upside house layout it made the most of this. Working farm, but very quiet. Although you didn't feel you needed to tell children to be quiet all the time. Pool and hot tub were great additions, and my girls loved spending time in there. I possibly read the desciption wrong, but I hadn't realised before that the washing machine was shared and only available when the pool was. It worked for us and was fine, I just needed to be more organised! Danielle was very quick to respond to all messages and communicated really well with any info we needed. Lovely to meet her at the start to put a face to the name. Would definately recomend and hope to come again. Ideal to travel the half hour to the Hay festival!

Second visit and just as wonderful as last time. House is great and access to the new wellness area and natural pool was the cherry on the cake. Laura came and greeted us and was lovely with my daughter offering her some outdoor games to play and to feed the farm cats as she knew she was in love with Sammy. Very peaceful location and great access to Skirrid. Fab pubs nearby. Great stay!!

The Cottage at Tŷ Reinhalt Farm

BeatrizRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This is a lovely cottage, nicely decorated and very comfortable, in a farm setting in a beautiful rural location. Rhianne was an excellent hosts, very communicative and responsive and nothing was too much trouble. We had no problem to find the farm at night with her directions. However, bear in mind that navigating around village and country lanes can be tricky if travelling alone at night. So it would be best to travel with a navigator to call out Rhianne's directions. Rhianne is always available on the phone, so she would be able to assist should you need help to find the location. The cottage is well equipped. It was really nice to see the farm animals roaming around (horses, goats, hens and even better, the cheeky kittens). It was a nice touch to be provided with fresh eggs and a nice treat on arrival. We loved our experience and hope to come back next year. Thanks Rhianne!

Tracy’s place was incredible! The pictures do not do the place justice. Very remote so you feel it’s private. House was spotless and bedrooms were just as pictured. The surrounding area within the property were amazing, spent most our time outside and in the games room. The outside was so spacious also if you wanted to be on your own for a moment you could find a spot. Beautiful location, had an excellent time. We will be back!

Walkers Log Cabin summer or winter cozy

RosieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a lovely long weekend stay in this very welcoming and immaculate cabin. It was quiet and felt safe and secure for the Dogs which was a win! Mandy had stocked us up with some breakfast goodies before we arrived which was very much appreciated. Shops and dog friendly pubs were close. Lovely location, with local walks on the door step. You’re only around 30 mins away from Pen-Y-Fan if you wanted to go further afield. Overall it’s one of the nicest places we’ve stayed with our dogs and is such good value for money. We’d happily stay again!

Hugh's Chapel (Min guests apply )

ElRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Ivan's Chapel with my family. I'm from Wales and it is a part of the country I've never experienced before. A slice of industry meets countryside. We feel privileged to have experienced a piece of architecture which has sat in the community for so many years - it really is a special place. From the mezzanine we watched squirrels playing in the trees so close that we could have almost reached out to touch them! Ivan was a really responsive host who was at hand to help us in person when we turned up confused in the pouring rain. He was able to suggest many activities. We particularly enjoyed the walk along the old railway which starts pretty much from the Chapel and seems to hang in the valley and took us past beehives with delicious honey on sale. Finally really appreciated the care to detail with recycling - wish our council was this good. Thank you Ivan for a lovely stay. Diolch!
