Monthly Rentals in Blacksod

The owner was brilliant communicate with, every instruction to get in and how to get around was very good, we had a group and it was seem less!! We will definitely be back to this location as part of our yearly trip! Thanks for everything!

We stayed at this lovely bungalow in Blacksod for 3 nights in May. The house was just perfect: spotlessly clean, exactly as described, linens and towels provided, lovely gardens with direct access to the beach across the road. The location is ideal for exploring Blacksod and the Mullet Peninsula - if you haven’t been to this part of Ireland before I’d highly recommend the house as a base to explore the amazing beaches and landscapes nearby and for the peace and quiet. Una’s bar is a few minutes stroll away, an ideal spot for a pint after a day exploring. I’ll definitely be back.

This is a remote location. We were glad we had brought most of the food we intended to eat along with us. That said the kitchen is very well equipped and the essentials provided by Tony were very good. The beds were comfortable, lots of towels provided, good furnishings. The internet was a touch weak. The views from the house are wonderful, our dogs enjoyed walking in the fields below the house (hope that was ok!). We did some great birdwatching from the property. I had the impression that the beach was walking distance from the house...it isn't really but it is a very short hop in the car and it is very beautiful. Long sandy beach, dunes, rocks forming wading pools. We were there in mid spring v high summer but the beach was perfectly clean and almost entirely empty. I would love to stay at tony's again.
