Stylishly appointed with luxury king bedding, large rain shower, outdoor bath, fire pit and modern comforts, Little Werona* is on our half acre property of edible and ornamental gardens with fresh eggs from our chickens (when available). Pets may be allowed by prior agreement.

Spectacular Sunrises at Govetts Leap lookout and Sunsets nearby at Hargraves Lookout. Mrs McCalls is a 5 minute walk to the village centre and less than a 10 minute walk to Blackheath train station. For hikers and climbers - Blackheath is a fantastic base.

Mountain cottage, spectacular views

Cosy & basic mountain cottage. 3 bedrooms plus separate rear cabin. Can sleep 8-10 people overall, but better suited for smaller groups (4-6); 1 double bed and 2 bunks in house and rear cabin has additional bunk beds for 4 people. Fireplace, external toilet/bathroom with a deep bath. Important note: bathroom & toilet are joined to the house but access is external. Amenities are in original condition but fully functional & cottage is well equipped with everything you will need for a great stay.

Has its own private entrance and is located in a scenic glen often busy with native birdlife, depending on the season. 10 minute walk to station, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, cafes, antique shops etc. Gateway to Jenolan Caves, Bathurst and the Central West. Free pick up from Blackheath station available.

Wildlife on your doorstep, including birds, kangaroos and small marsupials. 20 minutes drive from Katoomba, 7 minutes from Blackheath. Access to cafe's, restaurants, Japanese bath house and traditional Finnish sauna.

Coomassie Studio: the charm of a historic property

This accommodation is ideal for those who prefer the rustic charm of a historic property over modern comforts. Warm and cosy in winter, the studio was once a purpose-built kitchen of a house built in 1888. Separate entrance. Recycled furniture, large bed, sofa, original fireplace and bathroom with shower cabin. Tiny veranda and a kitchenette, shared patio. NO KITCHEN. To use the fireplace, please BYO timber. Rustic mountain studio

The studio is in a lovely garden setting with a 15 minute walk to the village of Blackheath. Daytime bus service is within 50 metres. It is a quiet spot apart from the the abundant birdlife (cockatoos, magpies, crimson rosellas, kookaburras) at dusk and dawn. Entrance to Blue Mountains National Park is a couple of kilometres further down the road with easy hike to Perry's Lookdown and Anvil Rock. There is a comfortable queen bed with a small kitchenette.

With a deep clawfoot bath to relax in from hiking through some of our favourite walks like the Grand Canyon or Centennial Glen. Just a 5min walk to train station and Blackheath main street, this cute cabin has modern tech - Netflix, G.Home, G4 WiFi, electric blankets, air con/ heating. We provide a cont. breakfast - fresh sourdough bread & jams, muesli and Nespresso coffee machine.

The original settlers cottage has been renovated & is rustic yet very comfortable. Just 15 minutes from Blackheath, (and only accessible from Blackheath) the cottage is totally self contained, with a wood stove and BBQ facilities. A unique rural escape for nature lovers.
