Apartment vacation rentals in Black Hills

We had an excellent stay here during a January snowmobiling trip, and our group of four was accommodated very comfortably. Clean, quiet, well kept, and plenty of activities inside to enjoy at the end of a long day. If you're traveling in with a trailer or large/multiple vehicles, parking at this apartment unit can be a little tight, one assigned parking space and a couple of guest spaces that might or might not be available at times. We were able to unhook and park our trailer off-site for the weekend at the event we were attending, so fortunately this wasn't an issue for us. Nathan was also very helpful to suggest some other options for additional parking nearby if needed. Highly recommend!

Mike had so many little things available like coffee, water, shampoo/conditioner/body wash etc in case you forgot something. The place was super cozy and the bed was comfortable! We had one issue with parking, and I called poor Mike at almost 10:30 pm but he answered right away but did everything he could do fix it. We didn’t have an issue with parking the next day! He didn’t gripe about such a late call (I’m so sorry, Mike!). Great stay, beautiful location!

We loved the location and the space! Lovely decorations and use of the space!it is a perfect black hills base camp for exploring!

Our stay was excellent! We were very comfortable! This place is dog friendly! That meant everything to us! We went to the local areas like deadwood, Mount Rushmore, rapid city. The apartment was super clean and in great condition! I love that they had little extras like the coffee pods, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, makeup towels! I would definitely stay again!

The apartment was beautiful. So comfortable and very clean. We didn't even know there were other people in the building, that's how quiet it was. Robin was so helpful and explained everything. This was my first time booking an Airbnb and Robin made it so we'll do it again.

Sarah has created a dynamic and comfortable place to restore and relax while you discover all that the Black Hills has to offer. Details such as park passes and a wheeled grocery tote were so very appreciated. The Johnny Cash theme is fun and classy, not cheesy. And the location is perfect—so close to essential retailers, easily walkable to restaurants, bars & shops, and super accessible to Custer State Park and other areas of interest. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Clear communication on the stay, check in and out process! Everything in the home was clean and organized and in a great spot!

We stayed at Shane’s Place in “the heart of the Hills” we spent 3 days and 2 nights and the location was perfect for all the activities we wanted to do. The place is very walkable to downtown Hill City. The bartender on site was very friendly and helpful. If you want to explore all of what the Black Hills has to offer I would recommend staying at Shane’s Place.

Tim's place is in an absolutely gorgeous location at the end of a mountain road! We saw deer, turkeys, and rabbits grazing peacefully right in the yard every day! We were there for trail riding, and it is only 1 mile away from a trailhead that will get you anywhere you want to go from Sturgis to Mount Rushmore. It was clean, peaceful, and just what my wife and I needed for a peaceful getaway. There is not a kitchen for cooking, but it is so close to the city that you have your pick of restaurants to choose from and Tim and his wife gave us great insight on local favorites for great food, at great prices! If you want to relax in peace, have immediate access to trails for hiking, biking, or riding don't pass up on this little piece of heaven nestled in the pines! You don’t want to miss this adorable stay! Such kind touches that make you feel at home. The kitchen had everything… coffee/tea bar, pancake mix, eggs, snacks, etc. The bedding was sooo comfy! The owners definitely have a knack for design and decorating. Thank you!!!

Great place to stay downtown. Right in all the action with lots of fun shops and restaurants within walking distance. If you have a light sensitivity when you sleep, bring an eye mask as the blinds don’t create a black out room. Was the only thing I could think of, but the place on the whole was wonderful!

Wonderful place right by the creek. Easy walking/biking access to anywhere in spearfish.

Quiet and peaceful with a backyard full of cotton-tail rabbits and the occasional deer. Safe neighborhood. We were hauling a trailer, and were able to leave the trailer while we took in some of the sights, and never once worried about. Clean,cute and would recommend.

Lisa and David are very proactive and responsive. I enjoyed the stay. Will definitely visit the same airbnb whenever I am around rapid city.

We very highly recommend this place! Teresa was a delight to deal with. Very personable She was so attentive to making sure we knew what events was going on in the area. She even sent us recommendations on trails that we should do when hiking. The bonus though was Willie the dog! He greeted us every afternoon as we pulled in and was ready to play ball Will definitely stay there again if we ever get to go back in the future.

The Case Place was hands down one of my favorite places I've ever stayed at, and I've stayed at many places. Jodi and Kevin were very gracious and hospitable hosts. Their places was very clean and peaceful. Their suggestions on things to do, homemade cookies, delicious breakfasts, and adorable and thoughtful gift really made this one of my top 3 favorite air b n b's. It was incredibly peaceful and exactly what I was looking for!

This was one of our favorite Airbnb stays. The place was so clean, cozy, and peaceful—it was just perfect for our family. I loved starting the day with coffee and enjoying the beautiful view. The kids had fun playing in the toy area and hanging out in the loft, and the hot tub was such a relaxing way to end the day after exploring. The location made it really easy to get to places like Mount Rushmore. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for such a great stay!

We had a great stay in Deadwood at this Airbnb. It may be apart of an apartment complex, but after walking in it didn’t feel like an apartment. It was very clean and was much larger than we thought looking from the outside. There was plenty of room for all of us and we loved having a hot tub. We also loved that the trolley came right to the front door to take us downtown. Trinity was an amazing host as well. She gave us some awesome recommendations for places to eat and drink and some fun activities. The instructions at the airbnb were very easy to follow and I don’t think we could’ve had a better stay anywhere else in Deadwood. I would highly recommend staying here!

Mieka’s place was absolutely adorable, comfy, and cozy. She thought of everything for her guests! We also liked that we could walk back and forth to Terry Peak during the ski day. We definitely would recommend this cute condo to others and want to come again!
