Stordalen is the gateway to Stølsheimen and has many great hiking opportunities. Peak trips up to 1000 meters nearby. All year round road from E39 Matre Stordalen ski center and prepared ski trails. The cabin is situated on a farm at Helle in Sunnfjord, in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountain with a glacier. It lies close to the fjord and a small beach. Perfect place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and local cafe/shop is 10 min away. Free WiFi in the cabin. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop with fresh eggs!

Part of single-family home with a fjord view. 100 metres from the beach. Private floating dock for fishing and swimming. Possibility of renting a boat by appointment. The residence has a living room, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Large terrace with good sun conditions and views of the Sognefjord. Access to nature and trails. 5 minutes to a grocery store. (Rental unit in the basement of the dwelling with a tenant). Bed linen and towels can be rented for 270kr per person.

A uniqe, modern house with the most amazing nature just outside the door-step. The house has a view to the forest and river, and has big windows to let in lots of light and most importantly - the nature. The outside area consists of an incredibly beautiful riverside front, with a wooden deck with a log table and benches, fire place by the river and pitoresque seats overlooking the river and forest. The closest town with shops and restaurants are about 10 kms away.

Cabin in beautiful Måren overlooking the Sognefjord

My cabin can be found in Høyanger municipality, in the small village of Måren. To get to Måren you have to take a ferry (MS Lysefjord) from Nordeide, Ortnevik or Vik. There are no shops or kiosks in Måren, so you need to plan well with regard to food and other things you would need during your stay. In other words, you have to shop everything you need before traveling over with the ferry. The cabin is fully equipped and has everything you need for a nice stay.
