In the middle of the forest is our farm on a hill in scenic surroundings with very good sun conditions. There you will find bakery, grocery stores, pharmacy, etc. Birkeland is known for its nice hiking trails for the whole family. Salmon fishing in Tovdalselva is also possible during the season. It takes 20 minutes to Kristiansand Zoo by car, 14 minutes to the southern town of Lillesand and 31 minutes to Kristiansand.

Here you can lower your heart rate and just be. Wake up in the morning and enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Ånesland while still in bed. Toilet and shower are in the outhouse which is about 80 meters away from the annex. Possibility of grilling on a campfire pan, but no kitchen facilities.
