Seit 9 Jahren Reise ich mit Airbnb und Michels Unterkunft war eine der positivsten Erfahrungen! Meine Erwartungen wurden mehr als nur übertroffen und ich finde die Magie dieses Ortes kommt alleine auf den Fotos nicht zum Vorschein. Mein Freund und ich waren an der Ostküste Bintans gefühlt die einzigen Touristen. Es war ruhig, die Umgebung ein Paradies, Michels Frau Amy hat hat uns das köstlichste Essen gezaubert und generell die Menschen auf Bintan sind super freundlich. Michels Nachbar Didi hat uns mehrmals seinen Roller geliehen und ist mit uns im seinem Boot zum Korallenriff schnorcheln gefahren. Es war ein Traum. Es ist der perfekte Ort um abzuschalten. Wir sind durch Zufall auf Bintan gestoßen und ich hoffe dass noch viel mehr Menschen diesen einzigartigen Flair von Michels Unterkunft genießen können. Mein Freund ist kein Fan von Strandurlauben, aber selbst er sagte ‚Mist wir hätten länger bleiben sollen‘. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Bis nächstes Jahr!!!!

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Do take note that when the weather is hot the heat gets trapped in the room.. the staff were amazing and gave us their only standing fan.. breakfast was great, room was clean and cozy.. definitely recommended!

An interesting sojourn. We spent 5 really relaxing days with Michel and Amy. Much conversation and French fare was always available. The accommodation was basic and shaded, does one need more with warm sea only 5 steps away?
