A great starting point for top trips to e.g. the 3 brothers - Heilhornet, Kula and Lesshornet, grouse hunting and fishing opportunities in the lake and from land by the coast. Bøkestadvannet is a local pearl, where it is possible to rent a boat and canoe. There is a short distance to the lake where you can swim and fish from land, or take a kayak trip along the coast and not least move by car/bike along the coastal road.

The cabin is located in a small cabin area down by the lake. To the west, there are views of the sea, where you can see Sklinna, Horta, and Vega. Possibility to borrow a sit-on-top kayak on windless days. The energy sources in the cabin are gas, a wood-burning stove, and solar panels.

The apartment is located in parts of the 1st floor, bedroom 1 has a 120 cm bed and bedroom 2 has a 150 cm bed.
