Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bilzen

The bathrooms on the floor are a bit on the cramped side, especially if you're a bit bigger. The beds are good, but relatively narrow. Taller guests sleep better downstairs because of the sloping sides in the bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen has all the necessities, but is quite cramped, if you want to cook with a few people. The large dining table is beautiful, but we are less fond of the sofas and would rather choose chairs around the table, which would provide better seating comfort. Very nice and modern design house with large windows and views of the countryside (and two cute donkeys) from the living room and the large terrace. Everything is bright, friendly, chic and functionally furnished. Everything you need. It makes you feel right at home. Ideal starting point for exploring the Ardennes.

A wonderful weekend at Stéphane and Dominique's. We regret not extending our stay to enjoy the place and surroundings. Nice and peaceful little brunch on Sunday morning on the terrace. Our daughter, who got married the day before, enjoyed the calm and peaceful nature after this festive event! We highly recommend the Gîte du Commandant 🙏

What a nice cottage! Everything was there and very comfortable - nice bathroom, good bed, nice sofa and handy kitchen. Stéphanie responded quickly and kindly in the communication, also the reception was nice.

We spent a wonderful family weekend at Luc & Daniella's house. The communication was straightforward, very pleasant and I was always answered quickly and very kindly. The house is very tastefully decorated and we felt very comfortable right away. Especially the “sun terrace” has revived the holiday feeling with us. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms well equipped. We are already thinking about when we can come next time.

We had a great time...The suite is a real little cocoon and the outside allows complete relaxation. Everything was perfect.

Perfect! Beauty, cleanliness, equipment, location close to town , parking… We spent 3 comfortable winter nights in Robert's apartment-Triplex. Instructions were clear and provided in time. We recommend this place for those who want to be in this beautiful city and from there discovering this beautiful region.

Really beautiful place! Tastefully decorated, very clean, functional with all the comforts. The kitchen and bathrooms are more than equipped. Lots of small touches are present in all the rooms to make you feel really at home. Beautifully restored old building with a great indoor climate. Despite humid temperatures during our stay, it was very pleasantly cool inside the 'Franse Kerk'. The apartment is very well equipped, cozy and super clean. For fun and games, there is a wide selection of board games and a great pool table. The surrounding area offers great shopping, restaurants and cafes. The surroundings of the border triangle are also fantastic for hiking and cycling. We felt completely comfortable and would come back for a 'third meal' any time.

We booked Jean-François' apartment especially for a serial marathon, and frankly, it was perfect! The video projector and home theater installation are great: we were able to fully enjoy our two nights. The couch is comfortable, the WiFi connection is fast, and everything was fine when we arrived. Thanks to Jean-François for his warm welcome and responsiveness! We'll definitely be back for a future session.

The accommodation is very charming. We really enjoyed our short stay. Parking on site is no problem at all. Also handy is the shed where you can store the bikes. Furthermore, everything was provided as per the advertisement. Includes some cups for the coffee machine 😊 Do take into account the spiral staircase to the entrance and the steeper staircase to the sleeping area. Recommend!

The apartment is in a great location. Close to shops, restaurants and the bus station. Lots to see and do for everyone. Nice and quiet and a very short walk to the hustle and bustle.

We had a very nice long weekend in the apartment. It was clean, spacious, everything you need is present. The terrace and views over the garden, pond, meadows and lake of Robertville were fantastic on the sunny days. The sauna was lovely! The area is very beautiful and quiet, but there is plenty to do nearby. You are immediately on nice hiking trails, in 20 minutes you can walk to Lake Beer (a lounge bar on the lake - just check the opening hours). The contact with Michel went very smoothly and he gave good tips for the area.

A great travel experience from start to finish! Annick and her husband came early to check in because we reported that we would come sooner than originally thought. The briefing was detailed and precise. The house was sparkling clean! We were able to communicate with them very well. During the stay, she even asked if we needed anything and if everything was okay! The stay left nothing to be desired - the kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The rooms are spacious and you have various seating options! The pool met all expectations and we were able to use it very extensively! It was a completely successful stay. Even on departure, everything was to our satisfaction! Annick and her husband did everything to make our stay very pleasant! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time in Hayen with our family. The house is cozily decorated, well maintained and offers all the comfort you need. The location is very quiet, so you can completely unwind, and the garden is a beautiful place to sit together, eat or just enjoy the surroundings. Everything was neat and tidy on arrival, and communication with the host went smoothly and friendly. An absolute must for families or families looking for a relaxing stay in a nice and quiet area.

The house is really great! It's very spacious and it includes a large garden where a nice jacuzzi and sauna are available. Towels and robes are provided and the host even preheated it for us! The living area is cozy and has a fireplace that creates a warm ambience. Bed was comfy and clean. Also the bathrooms and toilets were comfortable and clean. There is a convenient parking space available for your car in the garage. The airbnb is suitable for couples but also for groups. The stay and our host, Antonella, were amazing! She was flexible with check in and check out and was very nice and helpful.

We enjoyed the weekend with 15 friends. Blissfully quiet location, beautiful surroundings, very beautiful house.

Peter's Airbnb: Simply great! What do I say? My stay at Peter's Airbnb was absolutely fabulous! Seriously, everything was just perfect. From the cozy furnishings to the sparkling clean kitchen – there was really nothing to complain about. You can immediately tell that Peter makes a real effort to make his guests feel comfortable. And Peter himself? A fantastic host through and through! Super nice, helpful and always available for a good tip. He just made the stay even better. In short: If you are looking for a great Airbnb, Peter is the right person for you. I highly recommend it and will be happy to come back anytime!

It is a nice house in the middle of the woods with nature around you. The villa is just as it is described. Communication with Ralph was smooth and easy. The place is big enough for 6 guests. The two work stations overlooking the garden is an absolute plus. You have everything here that you need for a relaxing holiday. The only minus was that the water of the jacuzzi was filthy (the water was green) and some kind of liquid is constantly dripping from the tree above it. Otherwise the place is great. Easily accessible. Highly equipped. With really high-end electronic devices everywhere (yes, several of them do not actually work as mentioned in some previous reviews but it was not an issue for us). Comfortable beds. Large bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen. A large garden. And birds singing around you the whole day.
