Our property is located on the bank of river HIRAN, the life line of Gir. The beautiful flow of river can be seen from our premises. The rooms are surrounded by lush green mango orchards, guava trees, sapodilla trees and coconut trees. The place is far from the hustle bustle of city, village and highway(1.25 km), so you are simply in the lap of mother Nature. The farm stay also have 12 acres of agricultural land so food we serve to our guests is prepared from organic grain cropped here.

A welcoming entrance features a large, decorative archway with wooden gates. Flanking the gates are white windows and artistic detailing along the walls. Above, a sign displays the property name. The sky is partly cloudy, providing a soft, diffused light over the area.

Savdas and his family are truly exceptional and incredibly warm hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like part of their family. The dinner they prepared was absolutely delicious – one of the best we've ever had! The location is simply stunning, nestled in a serene and picturesque setting that provided the perfect escape. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and enjoyable experience. We would absolutely love to return and stay longer, as it was such a memorable and delightful visit.

What a fantastic stay we had. Everything about the place was so homely. All the staff members were very helpful. The food was all freshly cooked and very delicious. In overall our experience was just fantastic.

Savdas' homestay is off the road from the Gir and about 4km from the Sasan Gir Safari office. The farm is maintained by Kanabhai, who is the brother of Savdas. The farm is located right next to the Hiran river and is very picturesque. Kanabhai is very cordial and helpful. He gave us a tour of the farm and explained the organic farming techniques. Food was provided at an additional cost and was very tasty. Communication with Savdas was very easy and the responses were always prompt. Due to the location, it might get colder at night compared to the nearby towns & villages. Future guests should make appropriate arrangements for the same ! I recommend Savdas' place to fellow travelers !

Excellent hospitality by Mr Savdas and location of the place is also awesome. I saw some reviews mentioning about bad roads while reaching the homestay , to be honest I have seen worst state highways compared to that road and when when you travel to internal places as these homestay you can expect patch of bad roads. Finally the kathiyawadi foodwas so delicious. Highly recommended place for staying.
