Nearby is the center of the village with bank, sports-shop, stationery shop and butchery. A shopping center including COOP, post office, and bakery as well as the railway station, cross-country skiing trails and a ski lift are within 10 minutes walking distance. The great skiing areas of Fiescheralp, Bettmeralp, and Riederalp can be easily reached by public transport.

Beautiful two-room apartment in a newly restored sixteenth-century rustic building. It is very quiet: it can be reached on foot by a short path. The house is located in the center of the ancient medieval village of Rivoira, next to the community's wood-fired oven and near the ancient grape press. The town is located at an altitude of about 500 meters at the entrance to the Vigezzo Valley, and the building overlooks the beautiful Ossola valley, in front of Moncucco and Domobianca.
