This place is a gem. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful place. The hosts are very nice. It may take a while to get a response. Otherwise, everything was as it should be and we are very pleased with the entire stay.

Wholehearted recommendation!! We have had a fantastic stay in Peter and Vibeke's little gem of a cabin on the mountain! Of course, you have to be ready for a primitive life, without electricity and running water... and with the possibility of carrying everything you bring 500 meters up the mountain to the cabin :) BUT in return you get a peaceful and spectacular stay in the middle of the forest, high up on the mountainside. Ovenikøbet with sauna option and the finest pool in the middle of the basin. Peter gave quick and precise instructions that solve the small problems we ran into. We can highly recommend a trip to the cottage at Hovin!!
