What an absolutely delightful experience!! My husband and I planned a last minute weekend trip to Ricketts Glen to celebrate our anniversary and fortunately Bill’s place was available. He was extremely responsive, excellent communicator, and we were able to check in early before going on our hike. It really is as private, quiet, and serene as it says. I felt the stress melt from my body as soon as we pulled up the driveway and I saw the house. (I actually cried tears of joy and relief because this place truly is as described.) The view is breathtaking and the entire property, inside and out, is so well maintained, it’s clear they genuinely care and take pride in what they do. Spectacularly clean and super cozy inside. My husband enjoyed some popcorn and hot chocolate after our long hike at Ricketts Glen falls loop trail. The adjustable shower head was such a treat and this place has all the accommodations we needed for a fabulous weekend. It’s clear why this is a guest favorite. ☺️

This little cabin is serene and full of charm and character. The surroundings are beautiful and the space itself has everything you need to be comfortable. Easy to find with signage leading you to the cabin. The road is definitely an off road but even my mini cooper could handle it. Nice area for picnic and even a bench to watch the sunset. Adorable local touches sprinkled throughout the house. Overall wonderful stay, wish I could have spent more time there. Thanks Margy!

This house was perfect for our weekend visit! It’s so cute and clean. We had everything we needed. We loved seeing the turtles come up from the pond and other wildlife. The hosts were very quick to respond to all questions I had and even let us check in a few minutes early. Definitely recommend this stay!

Michael & Sarah’s place is fantastic! Right on the lake with every amenity you could want (French press, dishwasher, home theatre, BBQ, and fire pit to name a few) The place was comfortable and clean, in an extremely tranquil location, perfect for coffee or wine looking out over the lake from the porch or dock. This home had all of the little touches that make for an extremely comfortable stay (like wood and fire starters at the fire pit). Michael and Sarah are very warm, friendly and welcoming - we would recommend this place to anyone we know visiting the area!

We had a great time at the school house! I met Adam, and he was very friendly! Great spot, we had a blast! 100% would recommend!

Great place to stay. Spacious yard with some wildlife around. Private and quiet. Plenty of room inside and the host was very helpful leaving instructions of where certain light switches are. Clean inside and out! We felt very welcome during our stay.

Very nice and cozy - all amenities worked very nicely. Beautiful yard with tons of privacy. No cell reception, but in my case that is a bonus - it lets you escape for a bit.

This is top notch place to stay. We loved how it felt like home. Leenie and David had thought of everything and we didn't have to want for anything. I would recommend this location to anyone!! A beautiful setting and peaceful surroundings! Front Porch Life was stellar! Apparently, Jenni was somewhere on the property, but that was no problem, and she communicated well. I am rather pet-averse, but the home did not smell of pet at all. I highly recommend her place.

Stephanie and her husband were incredibly friendly and kind-hearted, I absolutely loved them! Their home is beautiful, surrounded by nature and so peaceful. My friends and I really enjoyed hiking the nearby trails and watching the sunsets (along with the cows, which were such a fun surprise!). It was the perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had an amazing weekend at the Country Cottage. It was very clean (cleanest AirBnB we ever stayed at). It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Darlene & Scott were very welcoming, and we gained a lot of insight into what it takes to raise goats and chickens. Being able to bottle feed a baby goat and milk a goat was an experience we will forever carry with us. We had such a wonderful time and look forward to returning.

While the listing for this property checked all the boxes, it really exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was stocked with everything you will ever need, there were an abundance of blankets, throws, towels, washcloths, and toiletries! Our party of eight had plenty of room throughout the house and especially the great room. The beds were very comfortable, too. The property is spectacular, with a shaded deck with tables, chairs, and fire pit in the lawn area overlooking two pristine ponds with Adirondack chairs around the fire pit with an endless supply of wood. And lastly, Tim & April were the most friendly hosts we’ve ever experienced. We can’t say enough good things about the property and Tim & April! We’ll definitely be returning!

My family stayed for the weekend and it was a perfect getaway. The lake is beautiful and the cabin has everything we needed. My kids (8 and 11) loved paddle boarding, canoeing and fishing right off the dock. The little baby geese were so cute and kept us quite entertained. The cabin is spacious and comfortable and we are already trying to figure out when we can come back. John was quick to reply as soon as I booked and we had no problems during the trip so I never needed to reach out with questions. Check in was easy and all instructions were clear.

My family and I had a great time at Gail’s place. The kids loved seeing the animals up close and just being able to look out the front window and see them every morning. Gail was wonderful, place is clean, and there were lots of wonderful breakfast items provided (milk, eggs, orange juice, cereal, muffins, fruit). Was a very fun family trip!

This was the second time we stayed at Dolly's. It was just what we wanted, a place close to Mill Race golf course. We also enjoyed the fire pit, grill, and yard to play corn hole. We will definitely look to rent from Dolly again.
