Sleep in a haima in the Sahara-Chegaga Berber Camp

The Camp is located 55 km west of M'hamid, right under the foot of Chigaga - one of the two highest Moroccan dunes. The camp consists of 6 haimas-bed rooms, a bigger haima that we use like living room and as a dining room, an area with a thatched roof, with comfortable mattresses to enjoy the outdoors next to which we light a bonfire at night, where we meet with our guests to chat, have a tea or enjoy Berber music. We have also a kitchen and a common bathroom with toilets and showers.

Berber Camp Excursions

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Our camp is step Away 5 minutes driving from the town, just where the sand dunes and the desert calmness begins. We do have 4 private and comfortable mud huts. The beds can be depend on our guests desire. We we have two showers with hot water and two toilets outside and close to the rooms. You will also have the chance to join one of our desert tours run by our Berber team.

My riad is located in m'Hamid, where roads end and the Sahara begins. M'Hamid is located 100km South of Zagora, about one hour by car. One can't find to sleep closer to the desert short of planting a tent! The village is quiet and peaceful and my riad is a traditional house built around a lovely relaxing courtyard where you can gaze at the stars while sipping your tea!
