There are native pecan trees surrounding the Casita.You'll get the feeling of staying in the countryside with the amenities of the city, since it's located .5 mile from downtown.

Originally delivered as a kit house, delivered by train to Cat Spring and built in 1926, the Almita house was fully restored in 2019.
