Nos encontramos con un lugar hermoso donde compartimos un fin de semana acompañado de perros y naturaleza, un lugar acogedor para ir en grupo o en pareja muy espacioso en la cocina equipada para preparar lo que nos gusta... Aun siendo pequeño para explorar, la compañía de los perros y lo hermoso de la vegetación hacen muy amena la estadía en un clima donde aunque hace frio la casa conserva muy bien el calor... Nos encantó el lugar

Very hospitable, friendly hosts.

Fredy and his wife were excellent hosts. Vey beautiful place with outstanding landscaping. The cabin itself was very nice. They have two big dogs and three cats, but animals are very common in Costa Rica. Good location for day trips, and places to stop/eat. Quiet, peaceful, enjoyable area! When we reported a sink faucet developed a problem ,Fredy replaced it while we were out. Would stay here, again!

Ein Haus mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer großzügig. Ich habe dort sehr gut geschlafen. Und der Garten ein Traum. Keto war sehr großzügig. Ich durfte mir noch nachmittags einen Salat vor meiner Abreise machen und diesen im Garten essen, obwohl ich eigentlich um 11 das Zimmer verlassen hatte. Danke!

Me lleve una gran sorpresa, el lugar es increíble, visite el lugar con mi esposa, el lugar súper limpio, hay de todo, es un lugar seguro, desde la ubicación nos pudimos desplazar con facilidad a muchos sitios incluyendo restaurantes, tiendas etc. el personal súper amable, parqueo seguro, definitivamente volvería a ir y se convirtió en nuestro lugar cuando visitemos San José, lo recomiendo por la tarifa y por todo lo demás antes mencionado.

We enjoyed staying at Cat’s and Yolanda’s home. Even though there is shared common areas, we felt very comfortable and private. Afternoon swims in the pool and lounging in the hot tub was relaxing. Quiet mornings in the upper deck were peaceful and you could hang out and enjoy the gorgeous valley view. We are fairly active so walks into town were very doable. Atenas has a good mix of tourists and locals and is a friendly town.

We absolutely loved staying here! Tomás is incredibly kind, helpful and communicative. The stay was perfect, the location is stunning and we couldn’t have asked for better! A must-do location for a peaceful and relaxing stay!!

We had a wonderful stay in this newly built apartment. The host was extremely helpful in assisting with taxi pickups and even arranging leaving transport. Atenas is a small but friendly town. Our stay was mostly spent on the large covered patio with kitchen watching the rain and birds. Their German Shepard was very gentle though a bit vocal one of our nights. For some reason, the all new outlets were very finicky about allowing anything to plug in, but we managed. Furniture was sparse but functional. Over all a very reasonably priced rural tico home. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and would stay again. Airbnb however refused to accept any credit cards, after initial use, so we had to shift to another booking app to use the cards or be stranded.

Great quiet hotelito. Friendly helpful staff. Nice location for neighborhood walks. Extremely clean and comfortable room. Great for the price. City park in the area and incredible fried chicken restaurant close by. Easy 5-10 minutes from the airport.

L'accueil est très agréable. Le logement est fonctionnel. Avec un garage sécurisé. Un vrai plus. Je recommande !

Creo que los que viajamos con frecuencia siempre nos llevamos alguna sorpresa. Pues está sorpresa de entorno, localización, precio, limpieza y cuidado de los detalles supera en mucho lo esperado. Además la historia de la casa, de sus dueños, de su personal hace aún más fascinante la estadía. Enamorado de la mesa de almendro del patio realizada a partir de un árbol caído en la propiedad de los dueños. Y el museo Juan Santamaría muy cerca.

Muy buen lugar para quedarse en Alajuela. El personal del alojamiento muy amables. Gente muy cálida y siempre al pendiente de nosotros. Recomiendo ampliamente, volvería sin duda.

The only downside is that there is no air conditioning but everything else was good for the location and surroundings. We love that it is a private property and that my son was able to explore outside without any issues. Dayan was able to us get breakfast for an extra fee which was convenient and good. Everyone was very friendly and even when we got there very late at night someone came outside and offered to help us with the luggage because we didn’t rent a car.

Me encantó! Adriana Y Xinia fueron muy amables y comunicativas desde el inicio hasta el final. El lugar está super bien ubicado en una zona tranquila y bastante centrica por lo que me parece que es una gran opción. En cuanto a privacidad y comodidad me parece excelente, me sentí como en casa.

Perfect if you’re flying in or out of the airport. Walkable to a few restaurants and parking was easy. This house is shared with other guests who share the common kitchen area — we had our own bedroom and bathroom. It was quiet and just what we needed for a good night’s sleep before an early flight.

Everything was perfect! Denia is a very warm and welcoming host. The room looked just like the photos - we enjoyed our stay!

Practical and affordable place to stay— responsive host, clean and comfortable bed, access to kitchen, secure parking— an easy experience and very affordable for travelers— would recommend if you’re wanting a no-frills, safe and secure place to stay. We appreciated that it isn’t in a busy traffic part of town. We aren’t from a big city so we liked that. Easy parking right inside the house gate is also a plus!

This lovely, luxurious home is the perfect place to get away. It is beautiful, private, and in a great location. With the casita set behind the main house, the setting is peaceful and safe. The home is very enjoyable and well laid out. Ample porches to enjoy the garden. Would book again.

very close to the Multiplaza mall, supermarket and restaurants. the place was clean and nicely decorated. very comfortable one bedroom cottage.
