Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Remember sleeping bag+pillowcase, bed sheets are in the cabin. *Road fee NOK 50,- *Remember drinking water! Dishwashing water is available in the cabin *storm kitchen/portable *Outhouse

A short distance to the Birkebeineren ski stadium which has a large network of ski slopes. 15 minutes drive to Nordseter and about 20 minutes drive to Sjusjøen with great ski slopes. Hoppbakken is only a 3 minute drive from the cabin. For alpine skiing you have Hafjell which is 25 minutes away and Kvitfjell 1 hour away.
