Huckleberry Hollow is a special spot surrounded by clear water, tall trees, sand beaches, woods trails, and- you guessed it... huckleberries! This is a beautiful and rustic camp right on the shores of Pleasant River Lake-- one of the most pristine places in Maine that's somehow still accessible and only lightly developed. A great place to make happy memories for campers of all ages!

The property is located about 45-50 minutes from the Bangor area, Ellsworth area, Calais and the Canadian border. Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park is about an hour and a half drive, Schoodic Peninsula is about 45-50 min and the Milbridge and Cherryfield areas are about 25-30 minutes from the house. House is fully stocked.

"Bear" cabin is one of four new cabins at Dickens Farms in Eastbrook Maine. Our cabins are spaced for privacy and each has its own fire pit, bbq grill and picnic area. You can enjoy water access to Abrams Pond for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Two kayaks are provided per cabin for your enjoyment. Sit in the screened in porch and listen to nature or head into Acadia National Park to explore. Bike along the private road. Relax with your family for a quick getaway or week long adventure.

Take a day trip to Acadia NP or tour the spectacular Downeast coast.

My Blue Heaven

The cabin is totally renovated with new appliances. Very cute and cozy, perfect for couples looking for a romantic get away. Jenkins Beach is closed for renovations this summer but you can still rent/launch boats there for a small fee. The cabin has WiFi and two TV’s, one has Apple TV, the other has streaming services as well and both have DVD players. Our cabin is not childproof, so not suitable for children under 5. Please look closely at the pictures if you’re bringing a small child.

If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, our house on Molasses Pond may be a good fit for you/your family. It is a hidden gem down a dirt road away from hustle and bustle. Peace and quiet is what you’ll find, along with a gorgeous view. It’s a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, and laying on the hammock. We try to provide you with all the necessities you may need and are happy to answer any questions. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
