The Snug at Ravenswood

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay at The Snug. It’s in a beautiful location and being blessed with good weather meant we got to sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the views and garden (as well as visits from Frances’s lovely dog Bear!) The place is really welcoming, the bed was so comfy and there are lovely organic toiletries in the bathroom. It was just so nice to kick back and relax. Frances was also really friendly and so helpful. She gave us some great suggestions of places to visit. We especially loved Barley Cove! I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to book here again when staying near Cork. The place is an absolute delight.

Annette was a great host from start to finish. Very responsive, attentive, and a very friendly person in general! A welcome hamper for the first breakfast was there for us when we arrived, which was a lovely touch! The house was as described, very clean and cosy, and an excellent launch pad for travelling around the county. Has all the utensils you need for cooking too, which we made good use of. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants something private, has dogs, and wants to see the local sites. Thanks again, Annette!!!

The Green Door Cottage was just as expected, clean and comfortable plus close to the downtown area of shops and pubs. There are many things to do at nearby Killarney National Park, as well as day trips to Cork, Kinsale, and the Dingle Peninsula. We wish that we could have had more time in the area! Tony and Sinead are extremely responsive to any message. We would definitely recommend staying at the Green Door Cottage🤗

Isolate Away from it All & Unwind in Peace & Quiet

JanineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent a week at Marcus' Airbnb. The house is very nice and met all our requirements. Kevin, Marcus' brother, brought us wood and peat for heating every day. At the beginning, he explained to us how to use the oven. We could ask him everything about the area, he gave us valuable tips for our trips on the Ring of Kerry, Dingle and Killarney. The conversations with him were very interesting and pleasant. All in all, the house is great as a starting point for tours in Kerry around Killarney. The hosts are incredibly nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place, so clearly 5 stars!
