The studio is five minutes walk to the centre of Chaillac, with its bars, restaurants and supermarket. Walk the other way and you are at the lake, with its beach and picnic areas. Free parking. The studio has a private entrance, and is up one flight of stairs. We provide a double bed, and a sofa bed, kitchen, dining lounge area and a separate shower room. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, two ring hob and kettle. The television has French channels, but has hdmi and USB ports.

Wonderful break to repeat! A perfect joy these days spent at Catherine and Arnaud's! First of all, because of their welcome: both are friendly, smiling, considerate and very concerned about our well-being. Then for the environment: staying in this beautifully decorated character house is a pleasure. Nothing is missing, it is perfectly equipped (from the kitchen to the rooms and quality beds) and the details are countless (sweet welcome for our gastronomic pleasure, jasmine pot on the terrace, tissues, etc.). The terrace where we dined with the birds singing, the garden with so many different species and varied spaces to rest. Finally, of course, the sites to discover and the paths to walk and greet deer, foxes, passerines, owls, without forgetting the Creuse cows! What, already finished?? No way, you have to come back!

Thank you so much for this wonderful stay that we won't forget. Three days in parentheses, in a charming house, straight out of a movie — cozy and full of serenity. The garden, meanwhile, was our cocoon of greenery, a real little slice of heaven where time seemed suspended. We were touched by the kindness of the whole family: your attentions, your smiles, the warmth of your welcome… and of course, we fell in love with Tempête, who conquered our hearts in the blink of an eye 🐾 Thank you for this enchanted break, for the laughter, calm and authenticity that your place inspires. One thing is for sure: we'll be happy to come back!

Nice house with plenty of space, cool downstairs (nice in our warm weather), nice bathroom and kitchen-with-necessary-equipment. Garden at the back completely free with sun and shade spots with 2 lovely lounge rocking chairs, delicious cherries straight from the tree. A few special guests have passed by: European hornet, bat, green lizard, flying deer female, occasionally a cat from afar.
