Beachfront vacation rentals in Bay of Pigs

The place is cosy and the view very beautiful, with beautiful sunset. We spend pleasant days. Host Josefa always watches with us. The place is a very quiet fishing village, where all the accommodations and restaurants are located. Dali arrives walking along the beautiful Larga beach (where there is only one hotel).

Ismel and Katy's welcome was warm and authentic, as if we were part of the family. The house is perfectly located, with stunning views of the Bay of Pigs. Katy delighted us with delicious and homemade meals, three times a day. She is undoubtedly one of the best cooks we have met in Cuba. We loved exploring the village thanks to Ismel, who showed us the local treasures. This stay was a total immersion in Cuban culture and a real moment of relaxation. We highly recommend this place for those looking for a warm welcome and authentic experience in Cuba.

Aside from the Bay of Pigs Museum, my favorite thing about Playa Larga was Boris’s warm smile! The Bay of Pigs Museum, 2 minutes’ walk away is excellent. Almost all is translated into English in an accompanying book. The museum covers the invasion of the US-trained and sponsored invaders. The Cubans took 1,197 prisoners. These were traded for medicines and food for children. At the casa, Boris cooks very well, especially the fish: highland snapper. And the meal is large. His cuba libras also very good. The house construction was with taste. Dramatic 2nd floor & mini terrace. The downstairs communal terrace is attractive. Boris is warm and social. His English isn’t perfect, but he’s very quick with his audio phone-translator. There is the usual US blockade problem of lack of electricity to power the airconditioning in the room. $2.26 billion fines for foreign companies dealing with Cuba even under Obama… But there’s a strong fan. AC comes on in the night. Bathroom is very nice too.

The room has an excellent structure and is located in a very quiet street. For those who value for privacy is a good option, since the room has a separate entrance to the house. The café is very good and the host gave great tips from Giron (restaurants, how to get to the beach and etc)

It was amazing. The stay was amazing, your place is beautiful and the beach was great. It was the perfect place for our children. This is my second time there. Fidel was the perfect host and met all our needs. It's difficult with the electricity. But even though they have a generator. So you'll still have electricity in the house if something happens. The neighbors' food was delicious and there was plenty of food for everyone. A little expensive, but it was worth it.

Very simple bungalow right on the beach. Within walking distance, there are a few small shops and about three restaurants, all run by very friendly people. Overall, there’s nothing to complain about — this is Playa Larga in Cuba, so it’s best to read about the place before coming. This is definitely not for posh travelers looking for a typical beach holiday, but if you’re willing to explore this beautiful area, this is the perfect place for you. And we can’t forget MANU and his very kind family, who prepared delicious breakfasts and took care of us throughout our entire stay. Love you all, and hopefully we can see you again at some point! I am very happy to have found this place and stayed a few days longer than I originally planned. The Casa corresponded exactly to the description and photos - you could see the sea right from the bed. Everything was clean and there were little loving touches. Highlights were definitely the extensive breakfast on the terrace and the few meters to the sea. Riders was always easily accessible and helpful and had good tips for excursions in the area. I can also recommend the place, especially if you want to arrive in Cuba in peace and eat well. They were wonderful days - thank you so much!

The place is beautiful and very clean! Both rooms feature a bathroom and a fridge. Also, there is a room in the entrance very comfortable. It is just a few steps from the beach where you can get chairs for the day. There are restaurants and small stores nearby to get everything!!! Best of all: La Niña and Manolito, as well as their family are adorable and very good guides, they guide you and give tips to enjoy the maximum, they are good conversers and great hosts!!!

The house has everything you need to spend a few quiet days in Playa Larga. It's essential to accompany it with Yuri's breakfasts. He was very kind to us and flexible when it came to receiving us, the house was very clean and breakfast was delicious, I would love to eat his arepas again!

The house is right on the beach! In the neighboring house is a restaurant with tables right on the beach. Giada is always very accessible and very helpful. Check-in was straightforward. The house has a very large terrace right on the beach and loungers on the sand. There are three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and a very spacious common area with an open kitchen. In the morning, a delicious and rich breakfast is prepared! In the event of a power failure (unfortunately, that was the case with us), there are battery-powered fans. It is advisable to take flashlights and power banks with you. If you want to experience an original Cuba (with all the advantages and a few disadvantages), this is the place.

Everything was as described in photos and the food that he cooks is delicious! I asked for lots of coffee and fresh fruit and this was given. Ask for the mosquito net! It is very helpful!
