This is an incredibly quaint place on the water. It was quiet and peaceful. We made easy day trips to both Kennebunkport and Portland. Be sure to stay close to Sanford for your lobster roll at Shain’s of Maine. Much more affordable than either Kennebunkport or Portland. Marc was super responsive with requests. We will stay there again !

We loved the lakeside retreat! Everything we needed as road vagabonds during our house renovation. We would have loved staying longer for some full days on the lake or lakeside, or will for a longer, real vacation. Perfect size room for a couple and their dog. Very comfortable recliner chairs and good lighting. Air conditioner was needed and worked quickly after we arrived. Bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud! Everything we needed.

Beautiful and peaceful lakefront setting. Kitchen is stocked with pots, plates, silverware, and other necessities. The refrigerator/freezer was clean. Bathrooom is spacious and clean. Towels and bedding are provided. There are 2 AC units -- 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. We only used them the first night and the rest of the week it was cool enough to open the windows. The outdoor gas grill was also clean. Internet and cable were reliable. Steve was very responsive. We only had one minor issue after a thunderstorm and he quickly resolved it. Location is 20 min from Wells. Close to shops, restaurants, and other tourist areas. We would stay here again if we visit the Sanford, ME area.

We had the most amazing 10 days at Bob & Angie’s place. The apartment was the perfect size for our family with our 3 yr old and 3 month old. Quiet, cool (even in 30+ degree heat), and great black-out blinds! The apartment was spotlessly clean, much bigger than the photos and well-equipped for our stay, making cooking and general holiday-ing with kids really straightforward. Angie lent us some toys and books too. The pool is fantastic with shade and sunshine and places to sit. Also secured off from the kids. I can’t begin to describe the beauty of the location and garden, particularly for us city folk! Angie and Bob are wonderful hosts; helpful and friendly without being intrusive. We would definitely stay again.

We had such a great stay at Ogunquit. Andrew's place was clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. I especially liked how walkable it was to all the different bars, restaurants and the beach! We will certainly return next year.

Charming cabin! We had lots to do although we mostly just relaxed. Catherine was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed! Great central location and the fire pit is magical.
