This was an amazing place to stay! Even though I was there on a trip for school purposes, it felt like I was on a vacation! It was very private, quiet, and relaxing being on the river and seeing and hearing all the cows in the morning. Emma was an absolute pleasure to meet, extremely accommodating with anything that I needed and went above and beyond to make my stay better. She responded very quickly to any question or concern I had. She also makes a mean cookie! I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in this area!

Perfect place for the family to stay on our ice fishing trip. We definitely overpacked, because the house provided pretty much all the things we packed aside from food. The beds were really comfortable and the place was very clean! The owner was responsive, helpful, and very nice. We are looking forward to staying here again!

We stayed at David’s place for two nights with another couple . We enjoyed the beautiful views of Rainy River from the kitchen and sunroom. Although there are other homes nearby it was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well stocked with crockpots, utensils etc. The beds were comfy. My sister-in-law said that she hadn’t slept better in 6 months! I fished from the dock for a bit, caught a small northern. There were several boats heading out to bigger water. We were in Baudette for a graduation, so did not bring our boat. The home was very comfortable and very clean.
