Vacation rentals with breakfast in Battambang Province

I was a bit nervous travelling to Cambodia as a solo female, but my experience of the country was beautiful, mostly because I stayed at Papaya! From pre-trip communication, to airport pick-up, to assistance arranging tuktuks, to delicious food, Tola and his family looked after me so well. Please be aware, this is a village homestay so there are bugs, and animals, and dust/dirt - but that is all part of the fun!

May Ann's room is very close to the airport and is in the activity area such as ceramic making.The home is decorated in an authentic Cambodian style.There are not many chairs on the floor.Clean and tidy.Animals around the house and all kinds of sounds can be heard in the morning.Normally very quiet.May Ann's place is stocked with all kinds of food, so you can use it for your convenience.The Tutu driver can make an appointment at any time for your convenience.If there is anything she can say to her husband, they are all very nice people!

We had a fantastic stay at Mao's house. It is well located to visit Angkor, and we really appreciated staying in the village with all the comfort of a home. Mao and his family made all possible for us to feel at home, had great recommendations for what to do in the area, and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you again we hope to visit you again! I could not recommend more.

Perfect hosts, we had an amazing short stay (wished we could stay longer). We arrived at the bus stop and we were picked up straight away thanks to the pre organised pick up. When we got there we were greeted with a very homely atmosphere and our room was exactly as described. We slept really well and the breakfast included egg, bread and some fruit which was all we needed. They have an option to go on a tour of the Angkor Temples for $20 which we accepted and we couldn’t recommend it more. The man who drove us was a very kind and down to earth guy and was extremely helpful and even gave us a lift to our next bus stop which was really kind of him. The hosts and their daughter made us feel very at home and we would definitely stay again if we came back to Siem Reap. 5/5

The listing is exactly as in the description. The room is simple, clean, has Aircon, fan etc. Pls note that the room is in the first floor, and the entry is through their shop/house and hence made my stay here unique. Siv and his wife Pisey were very friendly and welcoming. For people who decide to book this place, the following would be my suggestions: 1. Book it. You won't have a hotel experience, but a simple and nice home stay. 2. Book Siv as your tuk tuk driver. You can start immediately and Siv is already waiting for you. 3. For tour guide, or something else, ASK SIV. He knows a lot of people in Siem Reap 4. if you want local food, he knows the cool places. From $3 for two hardcore local place to cart food to a westerner average $10 for one person to the awesome Peace Cafe. 5. During the tour, go to the best coffee place. Simply delicious latte with condensed milk. Siv knows where :-) Thank you Siv and Pisey

Sok was a perfect host. Je picked us up from the airport and brought us to the original Khmer House in his property, where he also lives. He took care for us and organized a lot for us. Especially the Tuk Tuk driver and Guide for the small Angkor Wat Tour. Thank you so much, Sok. And thank you also for the invitation to your family party and the beer. We had a wounderful time in Siem Reap and Sok‘s Khmer-House.

This is a really neat place to stay while in Cambodia if you're not into the fancy hotels. The room is comfortable and clean and the bathroom is very nice. AC and WIFI work great. It's off the beaten path so you won't be walking distance to much, but you'll pretty much have your own private tuk tuk driver who is totally great to take you wherever you want to go at the drop off a hat. They let you borrow a phone to contact him, a backup driver, or the host of the apartment. It's all very conveniently set up. In Cambodia you'll find lots of people looking to scam you, but these people are definitely not. Really kind, helpful, honest and trustworthy. The place is a great value too.

We enjoyed Bun's place - a lovely, welcoming family in what felt like a local neighbourhood. Bun was very accommodating and friendly. A good breakfast was included as well as pick up/drop off from bus station, which was very generous. The room was as pictured and was perfectly comfortable. We also really enjoyed a full day tour of the area with Bun's colleague, which we'd highly recommend.

I travelled to Siem Reap with my girlfriend and younger brother to experience Angkor Wat and all the other marvelous temples. This apartment proved to be a great base for exploring the area! I rented the apartment through Airbnb, but it's actually in the Pages hotel. The apartment we rented accommodated the three of us perfectly. Absolutely loved the minimal decor and modern touches. It was on the ground level and had a small semi-private patio. The space had a separate 1 bedroom with a living room and day bed/ twin. The small kitchen had a single electric burner and some cookware (we never used it). Overall the hotel was chic and stylish, yet retained a great deal of charm. The small pool was refreshing after a hot day of temple exploring. Their small cafe had delicious drinks and tapas, while providing excellent service. The options were good for breakfast and was always served promptly after ordering. Communicating with the front desk was a breeze and any request was graciously accepted. The ladies who worked the day shift were genuinely friendly and always on call. A special shoutout to the gentlemen who worked at night! He booked at least a dozen restaurant reservations and got us tickets to the Phare circus. He was a real pleasure. Also the location is fabulous. Near a cluster of delicious restaurants and the central/night markets. It's also on a cul de sac, so there's literally no traffic outside. Pages proved to be an excellence base to explore Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. Thank you Pages!

The room we got has its own balcony. The place also has lots of eatery in front which are open as late as 10pm for those who wants midnight snack. I was also surprised that the souvenir shops, market, and restaurants are just at the end of the street of the guesthouse. It is easier for the guests to buy some stuffs and souvenirs, plus you can save transportation cost since you it is walking distance only.

Where is great and friend host.

Meta and his family have welcomed us very warmly and warmly. They give everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Meta helps with the organization in the region, but also with the further travel through Cambodia. Can only recommend a stay.

No complaints from me. The whole staff was very aware of your every need. Good communication skills in English.

We had a lovely stay at Tanei, Eang and the staff was always very welcoming and friendly. The hotel facilities and room were amazing. It was a great value for the money.

A very comfortable and clean stay for two nights. We loved the privacy of it all and the amenities that came with it. Easy check in and check out, walkable to restaurants or a short and cheap Grab to other areas. We were very pleased with our stay.

Our stay at Bunyong Homestay was lovely! The house has a lovely family feel, and Bunyong is always happy to help and speaks great English! We definitely recommend this stay.

The room I got back didn't look like the pictures exactly. But it was a good stay none the less and the staff was amazing! The location is great and the breakfast was good. The room was clean and everything worked perfectly. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Siem Reap

We had a wonderful stay at Sakaban Suite. The staff was exceptionally friendly and assisted us throughout our visit. They even prepared a special breakfast to accommodate our vegan requirements, which we truly appreciated. The location is excellent within walking distance to Pub Street, the Old Market, supermarkets, and restaurants. The only discomfort was encountering many lizards in the lobby area at night, though fortunately, they were not in the room 👍👍
