House vacation rentals in Bastrop

This was our second stay at the Ellison House. We gathered family and friends from across the country to celebrate our son’s first birthday, and the house could not have been more perfect. The hosts helped us plan the small event with easy to follow guidelines, and were always incredibly responsive and kind. The house itself is a unique treasure that is cozy, artistic, and modernly functional. We could not recommend it more and look forward to staying again next year.

We loved Bills home. The Unit was wonderful, clean, spacious, awesome decor, great lighting. The Pool and area was spa like, exactly what we wanted, but more. Bill was very friendly, very responsive. We had a great experience and will be back for sure. Thank you!

This place was perfect for us! We had enough room to spread out, loved the arcade cabinets, and we enjoyed the back yard putt-putt and small pool. Very modern home with clean lines and lots of things available for us to enjoy. My kids are older, but the convenience of a portable crib and eating chair already there is so thoughtful and takes the stress out of logistics. My kids loved the coloring books and card games, and were big fans of the big bunk bed. Our host was very proactive and friendly, and we had every thing we needed to feel right at home. I would definitely utilize this place again when I'm back in town.

Allison and Cody were excellent hosts. Very communicative and detail oriented. The home was beautiful and so calming. The pool was wonderful on the warm days we were there. Would gladly stay there again!

This is rental was so nice to stay in, I have stayed in Lago Vista many times and this was my first unit with a pool, and truly made the experience so enjoyable. This pool house has amazing bedrooms and a modern large bathroom. The patio kitchen and dinning area is so inviting and add in a nice breeze and this can’t be beat. We took advantage of the Webber grill and cooking outside and it was a great dinning experience. I would highly recommend this rental for future use.

Jay's place was absolutely amazing. Very peaceful, clean, comfortable, easy to find and even has neighborhood park with pickle ball, pool and lake access. Close to lake Travis and Austin, but with a private and exclusive feel. The pool was amazing, but most of all the host was very responsive, respectful, friendly and accessible. It overall is a 5 star experience! I would definitely go back and I highly recommend!

PERFECT PLACE In ATX We absolutely loved this place. Arielle was friendly, informative and proactive!! She went above and beyond with welcome snacks and drinks. We have high standards for mattresses and Arielle’s were one of the best I have encounters at an AirBnB. Slept like I was on a cloud. Even though it is in the city, the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, yet close to all the places you want to be. Definitely will stay again when back in ATX💗

An amazing property with a kind hostess. We felt the warm welcome and charming southern hospitality just oozing out of this place. They provided every supply for our weekend except our food and drinks. There was charcoal for the bbq, kayaks and life jackets for the river, abundant firewood and sticks for s'mores, bubbles, floaties for the pool, a blender for making drinks. We saw a heron, owls, a friendly cat, and few deer grazing on the property one morning. The whole weekend was like a little taste of paradise. Thank you.

Geza’s place was extremely clean and exactly as described in the listing and pictures. We loved how spacious the rooms were, the views from the backporch, and the comfy living room. It was nice to stay in a space that felt private but close enough to town to go out and explore. There’s a Walgreens very close by and minutes away from restaurants. The driveway is quite steep and short, so be prepared for that as you drive in. Geza was very responsive and provided clear instructions on how to get there and get into the house. Probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed in and great space for the cost. I highly recommend Geza’s place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in Bastrop.

Beautiful space. The windows were gorgeous. Every piece was intentional. Aside from a family painting in the living room that we felt was a tad out of place. Aside from just natural weathering of the wood which made the exterior a bit underwhelming compared to the photos, everything was perfect. Megan and co were great in communication from beginning to end.

From the time we first saw Gary’s place on the website we were super interested in it. It was well decorated and very clean and well kept. Once we booked we had a few questions and Gary was very responsive to us before and during our stay. He was super accommodating. They have made sure you have everything you need to be comfortable at the house as if you were staying at a friend’s. They have everything labeled and have provided lots of extras like coffee and waters, and toiletries and the icing on the cake was the cupcakes from the local bakery- a very sweet touch. The pantry was fully stocked with essentials and the bedrooms even had extra plug ins for your technology. They provided a dog basket with things you need for the your dog. The house is very updated and comfortable. The outdoor area is also very nice. Great place to have a glass of wine and sit in the rocking chairs with cafe lights. We loved staying at the farmhouse and would defiantly book it again.

The house and surrounding property was beautiful we enjoyed our time with family while here. It was very relaxing.

This beautiful home was exquisite. We had such a wonderful stay and definitely will be back. The fresh flowers that were awaiting our arrival were my favorite. And the claw tub was electric. Thank you for this magical place.

The Retreat was a treat to our group after a long drive. Spotless and spacious , there was enough room for our group of six. Absolutely loved all the amenities and utensils for cooking a quick meal. Sufficient towels, toiletries and laundry supplies were a great help . Parking in the driveway was easy and so was the entry. The beds have firm and comfortable mattresses and pillows. Living room furniture was comfortable and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend Alan and Lauren’s home for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely wonderful. Olga’s home was spotless and well organized when we arrived. It was very accommodating with everything we needed for our stay. We had a fantastic time in Bastrop and being able to come back to such a beautiful home at the end of the day was just perfect. Thank you Olga!

This house was truly a hidden gem-tucked away off the beaten path, which made it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The interior of the house was absolutely gorgeous with thoughtful touches that made it feel both cozy and luxurious. The real highlight was the outdoor space downstairs. It felt like our own private oasis! The swings added such a relaxing vibe and the natural breeze flowing through kept us perfectly cool while we lounged. The pool was a little too cold for me but my family enjoyed that as well. They thought the temperature of the pool was perfect. It was the perfect spot to unwind, read and just enjoy the quiet. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your house!

A very thoughtful air BNB! Every amenity we needed and more. The hosts provided great local recommendations and accommodated an early check-in. The tiny house was set up nicely, with coffee and water both upstairs and down, thoughtful touches and treats, and fun games with instructions set out and ready to play! We enjoyed the cowboy pool and my husband had fun with the disc golf course. A great spot for a getaway! One thing to note - the house is right off the road, so it's easy to find but it's not totally secluded.

This was the second time to stay there. We enjoy the house it is clean and decorated so cute. Rebecca is a great hostess and is very attentive and will respond to your messages quickly. We will continue to stay there in the future.

Beautiful home! Perfect for our family of 8 adults. We enjoyed all the pool and all the lovely spaces outside. The kitchen was well appointed with everything including spices and pantry items. We cooked all of our meals while we were there. The beds were very comfortable. We highly recommend this property! Looking forward to returning for another family get together.

Came for Mother’s Day weekend and had a great time! Loved the house and location was great for going to the state park. Would definitely stay here again!!

Park Place is Perfect!! We were close to everything, and the house has literally everything that you need!! The beds are extremely comfortable, and we slept so well with the rain pattering on the metal room and we were well rested each day so that we could explore all of the wonderful restaurants and local attractions. We also loved that they have magazines of all of the local going Ons... there a lot of live music, arts and local shops!! The backyard is amazing and has plenty of activity to entertain All!! We loved it and will definitely plan to stay there the next time we visit our TX Family 🥰 Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with our Family!!

It was such a treat to stay at the Texas lavender! The house is wonderful, especially the balcony. We spent most of our time out on it reading and watching wildlife. Feels very private! Worth a longer drive to Austin to have your own slice of paradise.
