The Chateau apartment was beautifully furnished, with a beautiful view of the surroundings, clean, very comfortable and equipped with every comfort. The location was ideal, for visits to many Champagne houses, definitely worth visiting the Champagne house of the owner Alain, we got an impressive tour through the vineyards & cellars with of course a Champagne tasting, by the way Champagnes of the host are definitely recommended. Alain is very friendly and helpful, was always ready to help with questions or tips. Also very nice is that all basic needs are present on arrival, so you do not have to go directly to the supermarket. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to come back again.

The house was Anne-Laure rented is spacious, equipped with everything you need for a nice holiday. There are lots of toys for children, both inside and outside. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking. It is all cozy and tastefully decorated. The garden is spacious and you can sit there. A nice place for a family, but also for others, who want to enjoy peace & the area.

A serene bedroom is presented with a textured, light-colored wall. A headboard with delicate carvings frames a spacious bed adorned with floral-patterned bedding. Soft lighting emanates from two bedside lamps, enhancing the calming atmosphere.

Charming Holiday Home

We were given a warm welcome by the two lovely owners, who live next door, and an extensive tour of the property, with lots of charming details about the place. The lady of the house had even baked a rhubarb tart for us! The house exuded a typical French "brocante" charm with lots of knick-knacks on the walls. All the modern comforts were there and everything worked very well. The huge but secluded garden provided plenty of space where one could tan, but also lots of shade in case the sun was too hot. The house was wonderfully cool during even the hottest of days. An artisan bakery and a modest but well-stocked supermarket were just a short drive away (and only 10 minutes by bike). 15 minutes both east and west would take one to towns with a couple of hypermarchés and very impressive WWI commemorative sites. Both Reims and Paris and quite a few other places of more modest interest were about 50 minutes away by either car or train. An excellent place with two very friendly hosts!
