Staying with Inguna helps capture the feeling for being in a small Latvian town. Spotless and comfortable accommodations set in an area of pleasant modern, yet rustic houses. The room had a fridge and I could have cooked there as well, simple meals. But Vecumnieki has an excellent pizza restaurant, Martha and Marija, so I went there. The local well water is filled with healthy minerals, but some guests might prefer bringing their own bottled water for making coffee or tea. You will enjoy your time there.

We spent little over a month at Rihard place for a work assignment in Ogre. My colleagues were very happy with the conditions offered , therefore we made a new reservation with the same host. I really liked it. The apartment was clean and cozy. All the necessary accessories and a good kettle that quickly heats water. The owner is very hospitable and always helps if there any requests. Next to the apartment there is a beautiful forest and a forest lake. The supermarket is only 5-minutes walking distance. Everything was very good.

A tall tree is seen with a rough bark texture, reaching up towards the sky. Branches with sparse leaves extend from the trunk. A small animal, likely a squirrel, is positioned near a branch, partially hidden among the foliage and vines that wrap around the tree.

10/10! Highly recommend for a peacefull getaway! The house is brand new and had everything that we needed for the stay. The location is quite remote, but we did not have any issues finding it. Hosts were great. Easy to communicate with and very helpful. We will for sure return when we have the opportunity!

Good place, nice and clean. There’s also a fluffy friend walking around :) Would go again in the future.

My husband and I, together with our children, 1 and 3, stayed at Edgar's apartment for two nights. This was the best place in Latvia we have stayed at and we were really pleased with everything, the cleanliness, the amenities, the comfortable bed, the kindness of the hostess that welcomed us. We can only recommend Edgar's place and would not think of another accommodation option when visiting again in the future.
