Vacation home rentals in Barbados

I felt right at home in this lovely little studio. It was clean, spacious and had everything you need. It's close to the main road, where you can easily hail a minibus. You get on, press the button shortly before you want to get off, and when you get off, you give the driver the money (or if there is someone on the bus who collects the money, you pay during the journey). It's really very simple. Oistin and Miami Beach are just a five-minute drive away, and it has all you ever want. Just one thing for people with very, VERY sensitive stomachs. Buy water to make coffee and tea. I felt unwell for the first few days until I realised it was the water. Once I started drinking only bottled water, I felt better again. It seems that very spoiled European stomachs cannot tolerate the slightly higher chlorine content. And it's not only in the flat, I was in a very fancy beach bar, had a coffee and the next day I felt unwell.

This is our third stay at one of David’s properties which I think says it all. This is a wonderful location, sea view and near one of our favourite beaches. The apartment is spacious, airy, nicely furnished and very comfortable with a gorgeous terrace. David is a fantastic host, super helpful with lots of local recommendations and really responsive. We love this beach. It’s quiet with great snorkelling. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the beach and a beer in the evening. Do check the tides as part can get closed off and do bring sea shoes to make getting in and out of the water easier. This is a such a special place. We are planning a return trip.

Desmond and Doris are great host, the were very reliable, responsive and welcoming, their place were clean easy access to main attractions, accessible to shops restaurants and lots of beaches near by. best beach is brownes which is approximately 20mins in maxi it's worth the ride trust me, overall my stay in Barbados and at D&D was just great and what I hoped for relaxing and beautiful.The locals are also very very friendly I would definitely recommend and return🇧🇧

Very nice place staff was amazing clean and cozy

Great location! Close enough to the beach but far enough away from the party so we weren’t disturbed. Very central to all the best beaches, and Friday night fish fry at Oistins. We rented a car and there is a car rental place close to the apartments. There is a market and coffee shop walking distance. I was trying to decide between this one and another closer to the beach above the market, but this was substantially cheaper but was amazing. Would book this again!!

I’m currently in a wheelchair recovering from back surgery so my accommodations needs are special. Gale was awesome and respectful of my disability and always responds if you have any questions. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

Peter is a very warm and welcoming host. The accommodation was quite comfortable and convenient, being pretty close to the Warrens commercial area. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This is my 2nd time staying at the wonderful Blue Haven. I like it's location and quietness. Again, the staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond for the guests. I appreciate everything they do for us. Great job! See you all soon again.

We booked twice in Yusuf's accomodations during our stay in Barbados and enjoyed both. The location was perfect; especially for enjoying Miami Beach, hanging out at Oistins Fish Market and surfing at Freights Bay! Everything was as described in the ad & pictures and the host was both helpful and respectful. Thanking Yusuf and his son for their warm welcome which made our stays in Christ Church even more pleasant. We definitely recommend his apartments to everyone :)

Just spent 16 nights at Sunkissed and had a fantastic vacation. The rooftop patio is great to relax after a day at the beach, the air conditioning in the bedrooms worked great to cool you down. Location is super with everything within walking distance. Miami Beach is just around the corner (5 min walk), Oistins Fish Fry is a 5 minute walk down the street and the Massy Supermarket is a 10 minute walk. Lots of buses and ZR's going by if you want to visit other parts of the island. Susanne and her Aunt were both very attentive and we can't wait to return to Sunkissed.

Arrived to the friendliest welcome and a wonderful spacious clean apartment. The apartment is well located to all the local amenities and a stones throw from the gorgeous Dover Beach. Would 100% recommend.

Angelika’s property was not short of anything, We stopped here for a business trip. It was easy to access the apartment and once inside it felt right at home! I really enjoy cooking and there was everything under the sun there for me to use to prepare meals. Only thing we needed to do was purchase groceries and the massy supermarket, beach and restaurants was just less than 5 minutes down the road by car. The pool is just steps away from the front door. Angelika is very responsive and once our flight got canceled she was even able to assist us with staying for one extra night . 10/10 I highly recommend will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

My stay at Visamar was excellent! Free of mosquitoes (appreciated it alot)!), big, tasteful and clean apartment - actually the cleanest AirBnB I ever stayed at. The bed is comfortable and the shower pressure is really good. Andre is a great host! He gave very good instructions for the taxi driver, was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I felt at home in the apartment and would stay there again.

This is a fabulous apartment offering one of the best positions possible within Port St Charles. The view over the marina and sea beyond is stunning with beautiful sunsets in view. The apartment is ultra modern, spacious and spotless offering all the equipment one could wish for. There is a superb double width furnished balcony. The private marina pool area offers sun loungers and bar for peaceful relaxation. Beyond this is the beach where private sun loungers with umbrellas are available. The beach can be reached by calling the water taxi - unique experience. Karen the owner was very helpful and responsive throughout. The local management agency were first class together with the maid service. Thank you Karen for sharing your wonderful apartment. Hope to return in future.

Very nice place and great employees. The location was out of the way from the main road and most tourist attractions. I would rent a car if staying here. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Overall, great stay! Room was immaculate, completely spotless, beautiful property, very clean and welcoming. Pictures represented the unit well. Staff friendly. Clear instructions of check in / check out and other expectations. Neighborhood was safe, people friendly. About 5 min walk to Dover beach, coffee shops (Cake lady was my favourite…about 8 min walk), restaurants etc. About 15-20 mins walk to St. Lawrence Gap. I was able to hear music from my balcony every night while enjoying the island breeze, which was amazing. Only thing that took away from this near perfect experience, was the bed. The bed was extremely hard which made for an uncomfortable sleep and sore back the next day.

I had a wonderful stay here. Home away from home. Marv and her husband went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and to show me island life in Barbados! Notes: It is on the Checker Hall bus route, but this isn’t too regular. It is possible to stay without a car, but is probably useful if you do have one. There is a washing machine, but no powder (all other amenities provided): useful to bring your own if you plan on using. It’s a countryside location, so be used to hearing noises of insects/possibly some bugs in the property: well made up for by the other tranquility the place offers! Overall: 10/10 would recommend! Look forward to staying again if the opportunity arises for another trip to Barbados, or to catch up with Marva and Marcelo if they come by London any time 😊
