This Bamboo house has been without a doubt our best villa in Bali, its like a dream coming true, the photos don't make justice of the real beauty of this villa, specially at night with its warm and cosy lighting. Beautifully design, luxury feeling and open air overnight sleep surrounded by nature can't be described with words! we got a tour, massage in the ground floor and flower batch in the jacuzzi, both great experiences. The staff was super attentive and going extra mile, above ( high) Bali's standards! i can't recommend it enough, just a piece of paradise at your fingerprints

Best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at (travelled over 20 years). Nyoman and her husband have created a genuine oasis from the traffic in ubud. The walkable location is literally paradise on earth. The private pool, garden, cute statues and modern kitchen are all amazing. There is a visceral feeling of being surrounded by life/growth/mother nature. From the squirrels to the birds to the expertly curated gardens. Even the dog paw print in the concrete before the entrance. You feel right at home. Nyoman’s breakfasts were amazing and she made the beds every morning, it felt like a 5 star hotel pat down. 10 stars out of 5. Deadset, stop looking and book this now!

Budi and Villa welcomed us in their home with open arms. The Airbnb has everything you need. Such a special experience to stay in a traditional Balinese house. We learned so much about the Balinese culture during our stay. Looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks.

Can life get any better than this? What a place, what a lovely people, what a great house and view! We've never experienced such a luxury, it's truly breathtaking. Nothing is too much for the ladies, they clean every morning, make breakfast (included in the price) and can provide a delicious lunch or dinner for a minimal fee (we paid less than 10 euros for 4 people). The villa is on a hill, hence the great view, so you will need a driver to come to Lovina (8 min - 10 euros for back and forth). Restaurants on the beach have a great kitchen, but especially fried food or rice meals. If you want to eat more Westerners, restaurant 10th Table is highly recommended. If I really have to mention 1 improvement, it is the mattresses on the beds (which are very wide, by the way), because they are hard by Western standards. But they are everywhere in Bali. So well, if that's it..? Highly recommended this villa!!

I Ketut’s place was absolutely perfect. It was far enough away from the busyness from Ubud but not too far to scooter into the centre. This was made even better with the scooter rental available at I Ketuts home. His family were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was included and restaurant quality! If you need any recommendations I Ketut was able to provide. I would recommend his home in a heart beat.

We were attending a wedding nearby. Our stay was no less than wonderful. It’s just a jewelry box. So comfortable and a visual treat. We had breakfast and dinner there. A great menu selection. House manager Malik and her staff provided beautifully presented and extremely tasty meals. The dishes we had one night were baby cassava leaves in coconut milk and spicey eggplants freshly picked from the kitchen gardens. Yum. Manik was helpful in getting us ready for the wedding. She purchased nail polish for Alice and did a great job with her nails. She ironed our clothes and helped to dress us in our sarongs. Some many kindnesses. Do not hesitate to book. We miss you..,,,

Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. The place is better than pictures and Bayu’s hospitality was simply the best we have experienced. They were very proactive in communication and friendly, he recommended local food and massage spots - all were top tier. This airbnb was the highlight of our trip, its located in a cute village with a stream flowing right behind our room - far away from the crowds and traffic in Bali. The cafe nearby was pretty good too, one of the nicer vegan meals we had during our week long stay in Bali. Hope to be back soon. Highly recommend Bayu’s place for the most authentic experience in Bali.

Absolutely loved the place. Incredible view and immersion in nature. The garden is open, yet private enough and the house itself has everything you need to feel home. Loved it and will come back soon!

Amazing stay here. I was a little bit worried at first because there is not many pictures of the place however it was amazing clean and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place to everyone!

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at this villa, and it was the perfect place for a honeymoon. The villa is ideal for couples, offering a romantic and private atmosphere. We absolutely loved the stunning sunset views and the private pool, it made our experience feel extra special. The Island of Villa Team was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was to our liking. They regularly checked in with us to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their recommendations for activities and local attractions were spot on and truly enhanced our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend this villa for any couples looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

Had the best time at AIR. The apartment is so much bigger than expected and really comfortable. The location is great for the centre of Ubud while being out of the way enough to also be quiet. But by far the best thing was the interaction with other guests and the community vibe AIR has - breakfast conversations and evening hang outs (while feeling totally at ease being able to have my own space when needed). Whether you’re a creative or not, this place felt so welcoming.

The place was very clean and super centrally located. Due to the side street, it was quiet at night, in general it was a great stay :)

Our family ( 2 adults & 2 kids) had a fabulous stay for 4 nights in January. The apartment was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable with beautiful views ( amazing sunrises) and a gorgeous infinity pool. Julia was a top host who was very responsive and helpful and we felt very much at home. The driver Ketut was so helpful in taking us for day trips and organising laundry etc, nothing was too much trouble. The daily complimentary breakfast was super yummy which was a true bonus. Although a 20 min walk from the heart of Nusa Dua, we actually enjoyed this as it wasn’t so hectic and we still had all the amenities and groceries available. Having two kids I was concerned about lack of restaurants close by within walking distance but need not have been as we found two amazing restaurants within a 5 minute walk ( Sai Japanese restaurant and Surya seafood cafe) offering the yummiest and safest food ( rate both 100%) which was a real treat! The Bali Bubble was a wonderful stay. Bedroom and bathroom were big and spacious, with a king size bed. 20 min walk to Mertasari beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay very much and would stay there again! The breakfast was very good and a definite perk—fresh tropical fruit, ginger honey tea, and black rice pudding were my favorite. The location is great… outside of the bustle of central Ubud in the peaceful neighborhood of Penestanan. There’s a warung (small shop) nearby and one of the BEST coffee shops (Pourmore) just outside of the entrance. The gardens on the property were so beautiful and I felt very safe and comfortable staying as a single woman.

From booking to check out, Ardana was very helpful and kind. He responded to messages quickly and always wanted to make sure I had everything I required. The villa is lovely, well maintained and had what was needed. The mosquito net over the bed was an added bonus. His breakfasts are delicious and plentiful also. The garden is absolutely gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. I had the option of either air conditioning or a ceiling fan in the bedroom which I always like. I highly recommend Ardana’s villa for a relaxing time in Ubud.

Was a very beautiful stay at Tisya place. Felt right at home. The food she had prepared was very tasty . She also helped us with all the transport arrangements and gave us tips on where to go and what to do . Her family is very welcoming and would stay at her place again for our next bali trip. We stayed two weeks in this absolutely stunning villa. Immediately when we arrived we knew that our stay is going to be peaceful. Endless views of the rice fields and unforgettable sunsets. We had the whole villa for ourselves so it was spacious. The location of this villa is further from the main (busy) street so you get the absolute privacy and plenty of silence and peace. The staff were sweet and helpful in all aspects. The room was a little bit smaller but manageable for people who are planning on discovering the Ubud area and what it has to offer. Overall a really amazing place to stay in Ubud, lived up to the expectations we had about living in the middle of rice fields.

This was a brilliant adventure staying at a beautiful location in the countryside. Located within strolling distance of stunning rice fields, and with gracious hosts who can’t do enough for you. We enjoyed delicious meals cooked by Putu who is also a wonderful masseuse. And I really want to emphasise this. Pete has struggled with significant back issues, and he returned home in the shape of his life. We utilised many additional services on offer. All of these services come without the “Tourist Tax.” When you compare what they charge to equivalent stuff in the rest of the island, you will be pleasantly surprised. Wayan and his son Agus are excellent drivers who know the island like the back of their hand. They answered our many questions patiently, and took us everywhere we wanted to go. But their recommendations were better. The best advice we can give you is to trust their judgement. We hope to return to Cosy Sueta. It's the perfect place for a snoooooooze.
