The kindness and hospitality of Dina and Bobby are indescribable, I have never experienced this before. We stayed a total of 2 weeks at this beautiful place and it felt very quickly like we were visiting family, so we were treated all the time. Dina prepares delicious local food, and with so much love. Every day we were surprised again by her specialties! The place is insanely beautiful, outside all the hustle and bustle of Ubud, deep in nature. Any tip to give, prepare for insects, but don't let that stop you from coming here. Dina and Bobby do everything they can to put you at ease (and double check the cleaning) so you don't have to worry about it. This made it extra special for me! The warm family of Dina and Bobby is without a doubt a highlight of our 8-month trip in South-East Asia. Thank you for this wonderful experience, dear Dina and Bobby.

Oniria is the most picturesque place I’ve ever stayed at. The atmosphere is incredible with seemingly endless rolling terraces, mountains, and lush tropical greenery. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and stopped at nothing to ensure our stay was everything we wanted and more. Some things to note about staying here you might want to know beforehand: 1) it’s remote and about 60 mins away from any restaurant, convenience store etc. so bringing some food and snacks ahead of time would be a good idea 2) if you love nature and all its flora and fauna, expect a lot of it. It can get noisy at night and you will be up close and personal with a lot of insects, and lizards/geckos the entire time there. Overall amazing place to stay to get away from touristy areas for a private, peaceful getaway.

The place was a lovely retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city Bali, and traffic was zero. The house was spacious, quiet, and all rooms were comfortable, overlooking the pool and garden jungle. The villa managers, Nyoman and Wayan, were eager to support our needs and responsive to requests. They assisted in providing delicious meals, helped us arrange transportation for sunrise at Batur (very near the villa), other transportation for dining out, and went above and beyond normal villa managers to help. Henny was kind and informative to assure us that we had booked the right villa for our intended purposes. This place is exactly as represented, and is perfect if you are seeking a real Balinese experience away from tourism. We would come back again.

Citra and her team are amazing! It was our first time in Bali and for sure wont be our last. Umah d’Alas is the perfect getaway from the busy life. Everything about the place was perfect, from the villa itself, the restaurant and the surroundings. Every piece of the place was IG worthy. We wished that we could have stayed longer at this magical place. But when the time came that we had to leave, Citra arrived at our Villa at 4am to give us breakfast boxes for our early flight. This is how you know that Citra and her team goes above and beyond when taking care of their guests. We will definitely be back soon.
