Very comfortable place with everything needed for a lovely stay. Appreciated the extra touches like the croissants and other items Maura left in the fridge for us!

Fern Hollow

Driving along narrow roads with high hedgerows and handsome gated homes, we discovered Helen's home in a beautiful, equestrian oriented, lush part of the countryside. Not accessible by public transport, it is however close to Punchestown Racecourse and near to the internationally renowned, The Curragh Racecourse. Helen was receptive to our messages and on hand to greet us. She gave advice on where to dine at that hour on a Sunday. Eating in her guestroom is not allowed. The bed in this room was huge compared to others we'd encountered in Ireland, and we slept soundly. There are drawers, a coat rack is the only hanging space. The bathroom is a couple of steps down. There is a sunken bath in the photos but it is not in use, just the walk-in shower. Breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, cereal and a pot of tea/coffee is enjoyed in her warm kitchen, and conservatory, before kind farewells.
A clean, minimalist kitchen space is highlighted by a light-colored table surrounded by folding chairs. A frosted glass door leads to another area, and a corkboard is mounted on the wall. A shelf with simple decor complements the overall aesthetic.

Our stay was short but the accommodations were exactly what we needed. Celine was very helpful and accommodating. The location is pretty nice, there is a beautiful walk by the river and Naas and Dublin are a quick drive away. Thank you Celine for having us.

Great location to access Wicklow, Kildare and Dublin. The local Ballymore Inn was superb for food and the hot tub was enjoyed by all in the group that stayed. Many thanks Karen.
A bright entryway is featured, showcasing a patterned tiled floor and large windows allowing natural light to enter. A potted plant adds a touch of greenery, while a door blends seamlessly into the white walls. A natural fiber mat provides a welcoming touch.
