When you step out the door, you are immediately between the terraces and shops, walk another +/- 100m and you are at the Pikmeer where you will find options to rent a (sailing) boat. After a fun day in the area, relax on the sofa or outside in the sheltered and sunny south-facing garden. From the living room, you step into the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower.

Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by just over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees. We also share the place our dog Jack, 10 ducks and some chickens.

Villa Maison Mer can accommodate up to 6 guests. The house is located directly by the water, has a jetty and invites you to relax in the sun on the large terrace. From here you have a unique view of the IJsselmeer. Whether you like to go fishing directly from your own jetty, kiting, windsurfing on the IJsselmeer or boating. Everyone will be happy in this family-friendly park. In the colder seasons you can relax in the in-house sauna or sit comfortably in front of the fireplace.

Located just below Drachten, you can be in the city center in less than 10 minutes by bike. Or cycle in 15 minutes, for example, to the beautiful Beetsterzwaag and visit one of the galleries, gardens or the forests.

Our Tiny House is a cozy oasis, ideal for up to four people, such as a family or a small group of friends, who want to share a unique experience together. It combines compact charm with modern luxury. Although it is a compact space, every inch is cleverly and carefully decorated to create a cozy, warm atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. Although the space is cozy and cleverly decorated – typical of a Tiny House, it offers everything for a cozy stay.

The Boothuis is located directly on open water and is newly 2022 modernly furnished for a pleasant stay and equipped with all facilities. Here you can walk and cycle along the water or through the woods. Museum or shopping, this is already 3 km away. It is also possible to rent a fishing boat/sloop/sup/sailboat/bicycles/a charging station for charging the car/hottube.

Smederij Sterk Accommodation

Lodging "Smederij Sterk" is located in the old city forge of J. Sterk. The monumental building dates from 1907 and is located in the middle of the city center, close to museums, restaurants, cozy shopping streets and the station. The accommodation has its own entrance, a living room with its own kitchen, a bedroom and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The lodging overlooks and borders a beautiful square where you can also sit outside.
