The house puts you in a different time, it is really very rustic. There is a great and fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare everything! This is also very helpful as there is only one restaurant - right on the beautiful fjord - nearby that is a bit too expensive. Therefore, it is better to cook or grill yourself. We stayed in the house for 11 nights, which was a bit too long for us. The view of the fjord is really very nice - also the veranda when the sun is out. We also made a campfire in the garden, there is plenty of wood for that. Very nice hikes can also be done without a car. In case of rain or fog, the house looks a little squeezed and dark. We once left the key in the house and couldn't get in. We are incredibly grateful to the hostess that she came so quickly in the cold in the evening and unlocked us!

This was a nice spacious home to stay in while we were passing through after whale watching. Isabelle was proactive on making sure we were enjoying our stay, and we enjoyed having the backyard fire pit.

This place is perfect for a direct connection to the river. The chalet (rather house) is fully equipped, nothing is missing. The village of Trois-Pistoles is 5 km away. 2 grocery stores, 4-5 restaurants. Highly recommended.
