Casa da Torre has existed since the mid-18th century, but it has undergone profound changes throughout history. Located on the right bank of the Douro River, facing south and west, it has stunning views over the River and the Douro Valley. It has four houses that were old farmhouses, now adapted for Rural Tourism. They are surrounded by organically farmed orange groves and vineyards. The infinity pool is close to all the houses and has a panoramic view over the Douro River.

Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. CORTIÇO: The apartment overlooking the Douro is named “Cortiço”. It is so called, in homage to honey, a secular food that was also produced on our property, exactly in this place. The family gathered to extract this nectar, laboriously produced by the bees, to serve not only as a delicacy, but also as a home remedy for everyday ailments.

The cottage is secluded by more privacy and surrounded by flowers! Possibility to park your car. We also propose breakfast, but it is not included in the nightly price.
