Very nice room, spacious and impeccable. The hosts are warm and very welcoming. The hotel is located outside the city center, which avoids the inconvenience of construction work – a real plus! Scooters are available, which is very convenient. I still recommend that you do your research before booking activities or transportation through the property. We were disappointed with the quality of the boat for Lan Ha Bay as well as the bus to Hanoi, especially given the rates. It's a good idea to check the suggested companies in advance.

Thu Ha was welcoming, helpful, and kind. She communicated so well, everything from local things to do to how best to find a boat. She answered all of our questions with patience and knowledge. Ancient House is a paradise. The home's keeper, Mai, is a lovely woman and the best cook in Vietnam! We hope very much to return to Ancient House and Aroma House one day.

A wonderful place, so peaceful, quiet, alone in the world in the heart of nature. The host is very accommodating and speaks excellent French. A boat picked us up from our cruise ship, and we got the room well before the scheduled time, without even asking. The view is breathtaking, kayaks are available when you want, with routes far from boats and tourists. The meal was delicious, one of the best fish I've ever had! And very hearty, in a very friendly atmosphere with other visitors. A huge plus for the host, the meal, the view, the kayaks, and the activity to observe the bioluminescent plankton in the evening. Just awesome. In the middle of summer, don't be afraid of the heat in the bedroom; otherwise, it's really perfect! Thank you for everything, I recommend it and I'll come back if I pass by Cat Ba island.

Staying at Ha’s Ancient Villa was an unforgettable experience. The place is absolutely stunning, immersed in nature and rich with history. Nestled in a natural park, the villa — built centuries ago by a local dynasty — offers a magical dive into the past. The food was exceptional: fresh, healthy, and delicious. May, who is incredibly friendly and welcoming, made us feel like part of the family. We even celebrated a birthday party together, which made our stay even more special! We also spent an entire day with Lu, their sweet dog, and completely fell in love with him. The whole family and the surrounding area are simply wonderful. Ha herself is extremely responsive and attentive to every need, making sure everything was perfect. If you are planning to visit Cat Ba, we cannot recommend this place highly enough. A truly unique and heartwarming experience!

Nice clean room, modern design is very tasteful. Beautiful sea view, large and airy room. The host is very psychological, knowing we are late to turn on the air conditioner. On the first floor is a very good burger place. About 10p -15p walk away is Ms. Nghi yoghurt shop, famous bun mango Ba Tu noodle soup. Around many beautiful cafes, sea view. Many noodle shops and porridge I have not had time to enjoy because I love to sew the restaurant you reviewed first

The scarlet pearl had one of the best boats that we could see from these types of cruises . We had our own waiting area at the harbour whereas all the other cruises were all mixed together . We had a really luxurious experience. I had booked it for my husbands 40th birthday and the staff made it really special by surprising him with a birthday cake at dinner time. Our tour was very well organised. The food was 10/10. We had a 5 course meal for lunch and dinner and breakfast was amazing. The rooms and boat are very clean. The view from our room was stunning . We would like to thank the staff at the Scarlet and especially Jessica and Sam. I was also in communication with Stefan quite a bit before the departure and his response was very quick and he was very helpful. Thank you so much !

I would highly recommend this as an amazing place to stay. One of The most beautiful places I’ve stayed in 2 months of travelling Vietnam. Hoa and Tran my hosts for 4 days were great and looked after me very well. This is a special place to stay in a beautiful floating eco homestay. The staff were brilliant and the food was amazing Highly recommend it for peace and quiet.
