House vacation rentals in Ayr

It was really great to stay at Scott's place in Balgal Beach. He responded within 10 minutes, extremely flexible including allowing us to check out late, allowing us to use the deck upstairs (as he was away) and suggestions for food places. The one bedroom apartment downstairs is quite big with a lounge area, a large bedroom with two double beds and a kitchen & dining area. It is very clean, neatly decorated and organized. The location of the place could not be better right across the beach and within 100m of a great fish and chips place! Highly recommended and I look forward to returning here soon.

Second stay at Christine’s lovely home. Good feeling, comfortable, peaceful home. Swimming pool great for the hotter weather. Beds nice and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Great accommodation, 9 lads stayed here with plenty of room. Pool, pool table and table tennis all a perk.

This is beautiful accomodation and a great location. It is high end quality accomodation with full galley kitchen, modern bathroom/laundry and large living space. Outdoors relaxing deck space, plus pool. Marguerite was the best host greeting us and checking in that we had everything we needed. Loved the friendly pets, chickens, wallabies, curlews. Jenny’s place had everything we needed. It was very clean and tidy. The fridge and freezer were spotless - like brand new! Not that we needed any assistance from Jenny as she has thought of everything but she was very responsive when we did communicate at check in and check out. Thank you Jenny for a great stay.

Very clean and modern unit attached to the owner’s house. Rod was very helpful and responsive in getting me sorted and checked in. The unit is super modern and is well equipped with any appliances and amenities you might need. It’s located down a quiet street, within walking distance to the bus stop and local cafes, with a walking track to a lookout very close by. Cannot express enough how welcoming Rod was and how homely the unit feels. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay over at the island.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at Kismet Cottage. The position is perfect for easy access to Horseshoe Bay, and all the cafes and restaurants along the Bech frontage, plus the beach itself and other activities based there. Wonderful walking, wonderful bays. Kismet is a very comfortable cottage, private, peaceful, and furnished, equipped with all the necessities for an easy, laid back stay. What you see on Airbnb, is what you get. Would totally recommend the cottage to others

Kevin was a great host! I was on a work trip with three colleagues. Kevin was very accommodative of our extremely late arrival. Kitchen was well stocked with everything for breakfast and chocolates - was a pleasant surprise. It is a Castle! Very spacious place and maintained at high standards. Might just be our go-to-place inTownsville.

This airbnb had amazing views, being semi rural. The perfect place to relax and either stay or use as a base to explore the Townsville area. Jackie did a great job in building the aesthetics of the place. Jackie is tinely in responding to queries and is very easy to communicate with.

It was a really great stay. The welcome pack was a pleasant surprise and the property was really well presented throughout. We were there for work, so unfortunately we were getting home late and leaving early, but it was nice to have a secure yard and storage for our work tools and vehicle. We even saw someone catch a fish in the lake out the back!

We really loved the place. We were able to spend the days out and about the adults could relax at home while our 2 year old played outside in the cozy cupe or with a variety of toys inside. The place was clean and so comfy.

Di was an amazing host. She knew we were on a long road trip and proactively checked in with us with updates on flooding south of Townsville and road closures. Di was also very accommodating of our two dogs and our stay was very comfortable.

We spent 8 nights at the Beach Hut and didn't want to leave. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Brett was amazing with communication and had so many helpful tips on restaurants and must see places in the area. The views from the main bedroom and lounge room were stunning! I highly recommend a stay at The Beach Hut

This Home is truely a home away from home. From the outside the home really gives you a beach hoilday. The house is old at heart with a modern touch. This is how i would explain this home . Then you enter the home with such a open, yet cosy feeling. Bed rooms are perfect size and space for the amount of bed provided. My kids were very empressed with the automatic blinds. Access to kayaks was amazing and being 3 houses down from the snokel hire was even more convenient. Further down the street is the local pub and swimming nets, convenient store. Honestly the location is perfect. Close to everthing. The beach is right across the road which is amazing watching the sunrise from front porch. Overall worth the stay.
