We had a wonderful stay at Patrice's place. The house was very clean. You had everything you had for a quiet stay. It also a pretty new place, so everything is "new". Patrice was also always responsive and could always help us with our question. Great host! I really have nothing negative to say about the place and the host.

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. We loved our stay! I loved having the coffee Jorge provided in the balcony every morning while enjoying the view. The apartment felt like home. It is well located near the town center, local market, supermarket, etc. Jorge is an amazing host. He took the time to meet up at check-in, showed us around the unit and pointed out local attractions. We also appreciated the wine and pastries he left for us when we checked in. I am so glad we found this place and I would definitely stay again!

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

Es war alles super & wir haben tolle Empfehlungen für die Umgebung bekommen. Bei der Ankunft haben wir uns an einem nahegelegenen Cafe getroffen und wurden zur Unterkunft begleitet. Vor Ort wurden wir sehr herzlich willkommen und bekamen die ersten Infos. Nach der Hälfte des Aufenthaltes bekamen wir sogar frische Handtücher. Zwei Sachen sind aus der Beschreibung leider nicht ersichtlich: der Ausblick auf den See ist durch Bäume verdeckt & man hat direkte Nachbarn. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört & wir würden immer wieder kommen!

Casa muy bonita y muy bien cuidada, situada dentro de una finca con amplias zonas verdes. Es cierto que esta al lado de un polígono industrial, pero cuando estás en la casa es como si estuvieras en medio del campo. La ubicación es perfecta para conocer el norte de Portugal. Muy cerca de Braga, Guimaraes y Oporto, así como de otros pueblos y ciudades muy bonitos. Manuel y Lidia son unos anfritiones increibles. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa y nos ayudaron con todo lo que les pedimos. Incluso nos regalaron frutas de su finca y una planta para nuestro jardín :) Sin duda repetiríamos alojamiento si volvemos a visitar dicha zona, y lo recomendaremos a nuestros amigos.
